Crochet kids, yeah!
We had 5 lovely students today. Florence brought the teddy which she made at home. She is making the yarn bag. ( do post yours if you haven’t already) One young man made another mixed media garden picture with gnome, ladybird and flowers. Another young lady made a party headband and started making bridges. Another is making her three colour garland.

@Roslyn Hill what a good idea, I love seeing what they’re making
Progress with my cotton top
I took a video eo to show how this top is going. I am totally not sure how to join all the squares But at the moment I am continuing with the next square by knotting on a different colour. The yarns are from my stash and are a mix of cotton yarns. The purple feels very soft like brushed cotton. I have quite a bit of this colour.

@Roslyn Hill there’s stitches like the net stitch or mesh stitch, both very easy to do but open weave. Then you could try the Angel stitch or triangle stitch, I personally like the heart stitch, it’s very pretty
I don’t teach granny squares as I don’t generally do Traditional stitches.
However these super squared tops that I spotted on Pinterest are so pretty, I have decided to to use up some cotton yarn in my stash. Photos of progress to come, the pic I am posting is from Pinterest. I have completed quite a few Squares including some new open weave stitches which are so Easy to do!

19 more to reach 900! Phew! Previously > surpassed> I just needed 10 more subscribers to my YouTube Channel to reach my next fun goal! 888 88 That would be 888 subscribers and 88 videos. 3 more joined and I posted 3 more videos..that’s progress! If you would like to help me reach this goal then please SUBSCRIBE, CLICK n COMMENT I have been making videos for the last 6 years, some are cranky but others are intended to be instructional and fun. Lots are about crochet, tips, projects and cordcrochet too. Many thanks for those who have subscribed already, do let me know which you are enjoying. Comments really help the channel and I know what videos are useful too.

So good well done, just keep going.
Who is engaged?
This isn’t about someone who is going to get married. Although if you have an engagement story to tell then do share it here. I don’t really have a story about that, he didn’t get down on one knee for sure, but I really loved my ring! So the question is are you one of the 41% who doesn’t engage in our community? Are you one who just likes to lurk in the background? And that is ok. I want to give a big thankyou to the 59% who contribute, who comment and click likes, share their makes and ups and downs, because this is how the group keeps growing. So here is a welcoming opportunity for anyone of the 41 presenters to say hello, share your thoughts, your dreams, your stories. We would love to learn a bit more about you. We are a friendly bunch!
