Hello there!
Hi everyone! I'm Jacqueline! I've been a full time photographer for 4 years and did photography on the side while working full time for 5+ years before that! Wedding days and couples are my bread and butter but families and seniors are so fun too! I take my camera with me anytime I travel somewhere. So while photographing people is my job, I would say travel photography is a hobby! I love that photography gives me a chance to capture the beauty of God's creation and the sweet interactions of people. It truly is something special ❤️

@Sid Marin I give a few edit options in the final gallery i.e. a classic, filmy, and b+w. This was the film feel requested to add that contrast too!

@Nick Stacy depending on the client, yes! Since film and film type edits are so popular now I have some clients who want a film vibe without the cost of it but also want classic edits. Where the vibe fits, I add in a few options of a “film” edit to go with the classic as well as a few b+w. I’ve only had one client ask for the opposite and want all film edits and some classic but I think it’s nice to have the option when the shot fits well with both!
Gear that changed the game for you
Hey hey! I have been shooting primarily weddings for five years now and have been in a really good groove the past two with the gear I have, but I feel like it’s time to add on/upgrade my gear. I fully transitioned to Canon about a year and a half ago and personally think it is the perfect fit for me! Will take any advice on your favorite gear, accessories, etc. does not have to be Canon :) TY!!!

@Nick Stacy I personally choose for versatility and clarity/depth. I feel like I am lacking a 85mm lens right now not only for the the focal length but primes are more smooth and I feel like they would really stand out for portraits and ceremonies/receptions. I love my 50mm but want more oomf if you know what I mean.
Flash
Learning more about flash and haven’t used it a ton - would love for best tips/advice/tricks people have that they love!

TTL settings are super helpful when you’re first starting out, and I watched a ton of YouTube videos when learning manual settings and that helped me so much because I’m visual. Learning to bounce light too is so nice to have in your back pocket for different settings and softer light.
A7RV flash issues
I recently bought the Sony A7RV and immediately started to panic when I couldn't get it to communicate properly with my transmitter Flashpoint X2T paired with the AD200 pro. I never use it on TTL but still want the option, though it seems this is one of the issues with all Sony models that have the new menu system. I'm not sure if that's been fixed yet but crossing my fingers that the firmware update did it's magic while I was asleep last night lol I'm also having something of a brain fart cuz I can't remember how to fix the banding issue at the top of the screen without locking me into a 1/125 shutter speed. Any suggestions?
