Angel Kisses Herbs members gathered in May for a greenhouse tour. We enjoyed the bounty of herbs that this greenhouse produces and bought a few for our gardens.

Another gorgeous 😍 dish made beautiful and delicious because of herbs. I chopped up lemon basil, spearmint and Moroccan mint for this watermelon 🍉 salad. I drizzled olive oil and balsamic over it and added feta and a few turns of freshly cracked multi-colored peppercorns. An easy summer salad 🥗

Each year when the lilacs are at their peak I make a litre/quart of lilac water and drink it in a few days. It's so delicious! I feel like I embody the energy of these beautiful flowers when I sip the water. If you enjoy the scent of lilacs, you will LOVE lilac water. Cut a few full, fresh lilac blooms, enough to fill a 1 litre/quart jar 1/2 - 3/4 full. Fill the jar with clean spring or reverse osmosis water. Leave the jar in the fridge overnight. Strain the flowers from the water. Sweeten if you like. I prefer this drink unsweetened. Enjoy!

I'm going to make lilac glycerite for beautiful skin. I put it in my lotions. And I'll also make some lilac honey with these incredibly fragrant beauties 😍

Here's a tour of our garden this year. The weather shifted dramatically, from 5 snowstorms in 6 weeks to around plus 30 Celcius/86 F! I needed to bring our bedding plants inside each night for two weeks before planting them outside. We're in zone 3.
