In August of this year, my 34 year old daughter had a stroke. Her doctors didn’t know if she would make it and as we neared 14 days in a coma, they asked about doing a tracheotomy, as she had been on a ventilator. But God…He wasn’t finished with our beautiful girl. When they removed the vent to see how she would do breathing on her own, she immediately began talking. And by the beginning of November, she was fully functioning on her own. She woke up from her coma, blind in both eyes. She already was in one. But after a surgery on her right eye, her vision in that eye was fully restored! My daughter who loves to cook and experiment with new recipes in her kitchen is back at it, and we couldn’t be happier! What a great time of Thanksgiving and celebrating the birth of our Savior we have had over the past month!!!
