Thank you so much for showing these materials. I will try to get them. I've been trying to organize my own study curriculum for the following months. I will reccomend Randy Vincent's books from Sher music.

@Danny Guitar Rogers I received my copy of " into the Labyrinth " it looks very promising and I thank you for the recommendation. The Ged Brockie books will have to wait as they are more costly and I'm emotionally struggling through one of the worst and inevitable experiences a son has to endure. I'll try to stay active here when possible as a way to cope with my grief and bereavement.

@Danny Guitar Rogers I had you in mind when I found this while searching for some documents. Probably seen it before.
Phrases vs Scales
I'm still new to this approach (I'm drilling the 4 formations), but I have to say playing the 4 formations is a breath of fresh air. I come from a 3NPS and CAGED background, and put off learning harmonic minor and melodic minor shapes because playing scales is just so.. boring? But I find joy in playing these 4 formations/phrases; they are musical and fun. It is a lightbulb moment for sure. Anyone else feel this way? Practice time is feeling more like a pleasure rather than a burden.

As I've gotten older I've come to terms with the reality that just like Armin and Dani Rabin point out, that music schools seem to teach and expect you to write and read before you can even speak. So the best way for us to learn should be by first learning phrases, sounds and expressions that catches our ears and then we analyze were it works and how it sounds with different harmony. Easier said than done but here is where Minor Conversion shines. we can map the fretboard with Armin's formations and the 3NPS & CAGED systems, and visualize those phrases within the Formations. and the formations aren't intended to be Run as a whole all the time, Armin teaches us to break them into little sections and phrases and to also connect one zone with the other. This really makes practicing more fun and musical than just learning modes up & down sequentially. Wishing you great success and enjoyment.

It fills me with joy to read you all. I know how it felt for me, like drowning in a well of information, false guidance and gatekeeping, then suddenly someone like Armin and Martino throw you a rope and tell you that it's possible to get out. Mind you, they send you the rope but we still need to climb it. No one is going to carry you or magically pass the knowledge without personal work and effort. And that practice time exploring the concept is what makes it into a personal vocabulary. This method works!!
