Set the Intention: Build Relationships, Not Just a Client List
I’ve been thinking a lot lately about relationships in business. Not networking for the sake of collecting contacts. Not entering every conversation wondering, “Could this person become a client?” Not treating people like leads moving through a funnel. I mean intentionally building real relationships. Because I believe one of the greatest mistakes we can make in entrepreneurship is trying to build alone. “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor.” — Ecclesiastes 4:9. In business, that can look like collaboration. It can look like accountability. It can look like wise counsel. It can look like a referral. It can look like someone mentioning your name in a room you didn’t even know existed. And sometimes…it can look like a blessing you never saw coming. Two Are Better Than One Collaboration can create opportunities that neither person could create alone. Your strengths may complement someone else’s gaps. Their audience may need your expertise. Your community may benefit from their wisdom. The question is not always: “What can I get from this person?” Sometimes the better question is: “What might we create, solve, or serve together?” Entrepreneurship Can Be Lonely You can be surrounded by people and still feel alone when no one around you truly understands what it means to build something from nothing. That is why accountability relationships matter. Find someone who will ask: “Did you do what you said you were going to do?” Someone who will celebrate the small wins. Someone who understands the fear, the uncertainty, the pivots, the courage—and the calling. You do not have to carry every part of entrepreneurship alone. Operating in a Vacuum Can Be Dangerous Sometimes we are too close to our own ideas to see clearly. We can convince ourselves that an offer is brilliant. That a message is clear. That a strategy is working. That we should keep pushing. Or that we should quit. “Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed.” — Proverbs 15:22.

All good, but I think it starts with number 1 collaborate!
Today is July 4th in America—a day when we celebrate freedom.
And today, I want to talk about a different kind of freedom. Because circumstances can change. Economies can shift. Markets can tighten. Algorithms can change. Doors can close. The world can feel uncertain. But when your life and your business are centered on God’s Word, your freedom does not have to depend on what is happening around you. True freedom begins within. Here are 7 scriptures I believe every woman building something with God should carry with her: 1️⃣ Freedom from old thinking: “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” — Romans 12:2 You cannot build a new season with an old mindset. Sometimes the next strategy is not the answer. Sometimes God is inviting you to think differently before you move differently. 2️⃣ Freedom from fear: “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” — 2 Timothy 1:7 Fear may speak, but it does not get to lead. A sound mind helps you make aligned decisions instead of reactive ones. 3️⃣ Freedom from striving: “Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10 Stillness is not laziness. Sometimes slowing down long enough to hear God clearly is the most strategic move you can make. 4️⃣ Freedom from anxiety about tomorrow:“Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.” — Matthew 6:34 You do not need today’s grace for next month’s problem. Build faithfully with what God has placed in your hands today. 5️⃣ Freedom from comparison: “Let each one examine his own work, and then he will have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.” — Galatians 6:4 Comparison creates drift. Alignment brings you back to your assignment. You do not need to run her race to be faithful in yours. 6️⃣ Freedom from confusion: “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach.” — James 1:5 Clarity is not always found by consuming more information. Sometimes it begins with asking a better question—and creating enough quiet to hear the answer.

I am working on #2; fear slows me down.
Do you have an operating system for your business
I thought I was going to design AI tools to increase my productivity. So, I went down a rabbit hole with Deb, my ChatGPT. After two days of her telling me stuff about myself and the way I work we landed on a simple Revenue Generating Activity (RGA) Headquarters built in Notion that is designed to keep me focused on the main thing rather on things that have no ROÍ. I’ll let you know how it goes. What do you have in place to keep you focused on what’s important? ✅ An accountability that actually keeps you accountable ✅ A Board of Directors with formal meetings ✅ An AI Coach/Strategist ✅ A human Coach, mentor, or advisor. What are you focusing on? Leave a comment and a GIF that represents how you stay focused.

I prayed for you this morning
💜 It is such a blessing to have an incredible group of purpose-driven individuals in the ClientFlow™ Studio community. As I looked across our roster this week, I was reminded how fortunate we are to be surrounded by people who are answering God's call and allowing Him to use their businesses, gifts, and experiences for Kingdom impact. This morning, I took time to pray our member —that God's promises over your life, your business, your family, and your future would be Yes and Amen (2 Corinthians 1:20). My prayer is that you would walk in greater clarity, courage, confidence, and trust, knowing that God has already gone before you and that His provision is already in motion. 🎥 Be sure to check out the replay. And don't forget to join the conversation here in the community. We were never meant to do this journey alone. Iron sharpens iron, and we grow stronger when we encourage, support, and engage with one another. Invite other purpose-driven women entrepreneurs to check out the community.
