Atticus Software
I'm in a bit of a pickle, I have a draft manuscript and I would like to format and polish it. I looked at Canva but it has a pdf export page limit and people say it's more a graphics app than text. Then there's Atticus which looks brilliant, it's a one off £176 as I speak but before I buy can I ask if there's anything else, a better method perhaps. Any replies will be gratefully received and much appreciated, thank you. PS. I'm trying to avoid Fiverr due to a recent experience which was less than adequate.

I’ve been using atticus for about a year or so
Has anyone tested the translation feature?
Hi everyone, I tested the beta translation feature today by translating one of my books from English into Spanish. Since Spanish is my native language, I was able to read through it carefully, and honestly, I’m very happy with the result. There were a few small things I would adjust here and there, but overall, the translation was much better than I expected. I’m curious if anyone here has tested the feature with other languages, especially German. I’ve been selling some of my English books in Germany, so I’m wondering if translating into German could be a smart next step. Has anyone tried English to German, French, Italian, or any other language yet? I’d love to hear how accurate or natural the translations felt. Thanks so much!

This is great to know, definitely it would be nice to hear on the German translation 👍
Amazon Ads Automation + Keyword Research Tools
Hey everyone, Two quick questions: First, has anyone used a company or tool to automate Amazon Ads campaigns? I’ve seen a few options, but some seem only semi-automated and still require manual input, while others say they are fully automated. I’d love to know what your experience has been and whether you felt it was worth the cost. Second, what tools are you using to check keywords and profitability before choosing or validating a book ideIs anyone using Publisher Rocket and finding it reliable enough? I’m curious about the real pros and cons. Thanks so much. I’m trying to understand what’s actually useful before adding another tool or service to the process.

@Laura Lopez Arana I used Adigy for 3 or 4 months last year as a trial. I definitely think it’s best to properly learn to optimise & manage ads yourself before outsourcing

@Laura Lopez Arana Yeah makes sense Laura. Anything that can make things quicker & simplify is a bonus. Wishing you good luck with it
Launch Strategy
Hi Everyone. I had heard from a seasoned publisher that it was best to launch my ebook first and 30 days later launch the paperback to get a second boost from Amazon. So, not launch them at the same time. Is this true or not from your experience? TIA

Used to do this strategy when we could go all out for reviews on the ebook free promo in order to start running ads on the paperback a month or so later, but stopped since the reviews clamp down late last year
Building an ARC Reader List.
Hi everyone, I am fairly new here and plan on making valuable contributions. Today I have a question. I believe I recently read something here about "building an ARC reader list." I have never done this, and I'm sure it is an excellent idea prior to launching. Is there any training, advice, or threads here that I can be pointed to that would share or teach the best way to do this today, in 2026? Thanks.

Hi Mark. I’m not sure if there is training here as the group is relatively new. Personally I include a lead magnet I think will be of value to the reader. If it’s decent & appealing you get many sign ups. Mine links to aweber. I think I recognise you from RH course? There’s training there & step by step guidance in the later modules too. I’m still trying to work out the best way to utilise my reader list though lol!
