Unfortunately, this isn't correct you know. Intellectual copyright laws and trademarks cover abstract derivatives of artwork too. In a nutshell, despite the style or 'take', If you're selling even a single a painting (and you can tell who the trademarked or copyright character is), then you are leaving yourself wide open to a breach of intellectual copyright. My advice is to NEVER do this. It's a very dangerous game.

Hey guys! I haven't created traditional art since 2012, when i first started to dabble with oils (i loved it so much). I only did a couple of paintings, before switching to creating art prints digitally and selling via Shopify (doing over £1m in revenue). I saw Corbellic on Youtube and it triggered something in me, where i want to pickup where i left off with brushes and paint!

@Bruno B Thanks! I do often wish that i'd have carried on painting physically (instead of digitally), even if it was just for fun. An extra 13 years of experience wouldn't go amiss now. 😁
