Slope pricing help
Was out to quote an 8 acre lot on a fairly decent incline with light/med vegetation tree removal. Since I have a 333g I would like to rent a piece of equipment (like an FAE PT175). Besides the rental price, how would you quote this job assuming they wanted all the little stuff gone but leave the big trees? Note: Each line is 10ft

Hey fellas looking for some feedback
I will be launching a forestry mulching specific company with a new 275xe and a fecon head. I filed my LLC with the state and got my EIN. I created my Facebook page and also did my Google account. Soon I’ll be renting a skid steer from cat to take to my buddies property to mulch so I can make content and make videos for my pages. I have a 2022 Chevy 2500 dmax. It is paid off and I am looking for trailer ideas. I DON’T have a flat bed so I am worried about having space on a tandem 10k axle bumper pull trailer. I would like to have a job box for spare parts and maintenance items. Also store a grapple bucket. My truck is setup for a gooseneck as well I know the ride quality is better and I would have more space but is it really necessary? I have a class A CDL. Any input on what I should be doing from now until January when I start scheduling jobs for February would be appreciated and any input on the trailer setup I should go with would also help.

I use a Ram 2500 with a 22ft Load Trail triple axle trailer for my 333g. I dont know if I will ever go back to a dual axle. It absolutely glides over the bumps in the road and is a dream to pull. Not to bad at $8500 new either. I was between that and a Gator Made Aardvark triple axle. Might go with that the next time.....maybe lol

I’m 17, how much capital do I need?
Hey guys! My name is Braxton Brown I’m 17 and I live in north eastern Washington. I currently own a business called Double B Land Co. since I’m 17 my business has consisted of weed eating and a lot of basic home service stuff. I’m working extremely hard to build a pile of cash right now to buy a truck to be able to even haul equipment. I plan on renting next year as soon as I finish school. My question is, how much would be recommended that I have saved after buying a truck to be able to run this business before the business makes a profit? Thank you!

Honestly, $0. If you market it correctly that would be your only expense ahead of getting anything. If you rent through a reputable place, they will work with you on delivery. I started my first 3months without even a truck. Now I have a truck, trailer, a 333G. Get into the game and discover what works and what doesnt and that will guide you to what equipment you need. Thought I would need a big forestry mulcher, but turns out 90% of what I do doesnt require it so I but a Brushmonster instead and is a very useful multipurpose tool.

Lack of response
I've gotten 27 leads over the last 2 weeks and I am seeing an unnerving trend: People who don't answer the phone or call/message me back even when I respond to their leads questions within 15 seconds. Why would someone go to the trouble of answering the questions if they won't answer the phone or respond to a message? Beyond frustrating. Is anyone else dealing with this? Thanks

@Ron Mattson Specifically I am using Meta Ads (for posting on FB and Instagram) and if you download the Meta Ads app for your phone, it will display all the leads for your campaign. Once you get a new lead you can organize them from Not contacted, qualified, converted, archived, or not interested.

@Ron Mattson Ive heard it takes a month or 2 or 3 to get it figured out but having the baseline down is ideal. With a good foundation (well structured ad, website, and lead form) its hard not to win in this game
