Lack of response
I've gotten 27 leads over the last 2 weeks and I am seeing an unnerving trend: People who don't answer the phone or call/message me back even when I respond to their leads questions within 15 seconds. Why would someone go to the trouble of answering the questions if they won't answer the phone or respond to a message? Beyond frustrating. Is anyone else dealing with this? Thanks

@Ron Mattson Specifically I am using Meta Ads (for posting on FB and Instagram) and if you download the Meta Ads app for your phone, it will display all the leads for your campaign. Once you get a new lead you can organize them from Not contacted, qualified, converted, archived, or not interested.

@Ron Mattson Ive heard it takes a month or 2 or 3 to get it figured out but having the baseline down is ideal. With a good foundation (well structured ad, website, and lead form) its hard not to win in this game
Insurance
Would someone be so kind to list a few good insurance companies that I should contact and list the required coverage. Thanks

I use NEXT Insurance through a local broker. They cover both my liability and my rental coverage (I don't own....YET!)
New Company, job estimate advice
Hello everyone, I've been clearing land as a side hustle for neighboring ranches but I am officially going full time and starting my business beginning July. I have a website, Facebook page, but I have done zero advertising this far. i plan to soon though, have to contact the marketing peeps. For July I have a quick 2acre job locked in. I also have a 5 acre clearing job locked in which is mostkey cleared he just wants me to make it look pretty. I'm doing that job free but in exchange he is leasing me 1acre of land for my business and equipment for 12 months. Then I had a contractor call me for a large 11.4acre job for a residential neighborhood. They basically just want me to clear out the roadways and cul de sacs. I sent a quote to them and they haven't made a decision yet but I just want yalls thoughts on if I bid too high or too low. The quote I sent is attached.

That is a very thorough quote description. Never thought to put that much detail into it. Curious how different customers like/dislike the difficulty adjustment. Have you had any feedback on that?

@Jake S will be curious how that works and what the customer thinks. Very interesting idea

@Thomas Loiselle So far I have 1 job complete which is a friend of ours. So far I have put out a FB Marketplace ad and have 1 customer lined up from that. Working on the ads now for Meta and for Google and will see how those go. Currently I just rent equipment (Saves on overhead) and already have a 3/4ton truck. Just need the leads and the jobs!
