HIDE OR STAND?
When you see the news and all the unrest happening in the world, do you have an urge to hide or stand? Do we want to protect our kids at all costs and act like they are victims or do you want to take a stand, and equip them to be the light of the world? Although I know the STAND is the correct answer, many times as a parent I just want to hide my kids and protect them from all of it. I think that mostly because I don't know sometimes how to stand. But one of my goals for 2026 is to STAND FIRM. Stand firm in faith, stand firm against agendas and ideologies, stand firm in His promises and His word. Let's try that together. Let's take a stand this year, and even if you don't know how, you can join me in faith by just making the decision to have our kids live an abundant life instead of surviving. Let me know in the comments what you think!

@Marina Maltsev the arcs study blew my mind! It’s a daily challenge but I think that our closeness to God will lead to wisdom and discernment in what to do! Thank you for sharing!

Only God knows the plans for our kids! They are plans of good and not of evil, plans to give them a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29:11)
PLAN AHEAD
We are all probably running around with preparations and shopping for Christmas. But have you stopped to think about what do you want that day to look like from an eternal perspective? Did you ask God for His will for that day? We tend to ask for help only in moments of despair, or when we feel we do not have the solution ourselves. We forget to ask God for direction. Here are some questions you can ask HIm as we prepare to celebrate Christmas with our kids: - God, what do you want our day to look like? - We have our own traditions, but I want your will above my plans and traditions. Is there something I should stop doing? Is there something we should start doing? - Besides the food, the gifts, the movies, etc, how can I celebrate the birth of Jesus in my household? What, where, how and when should I do it? - God, I want our family to have a real encounter with Jesus during this Christmas season. Can you give me ideas of how I can facilitate that? How can I create spaces for you to come and dwell among us? If you already do this, or have ideas/suggestions of things we can add to our celebrations that create spaces for Jesus to come and dwell among us, share right here!
