🌧️ When the Skies Feel Gloomy
Some days just feel heavy. The sky is gray, the light feels hidden, and everything around us seems to mirror that mood. But here’s the hope: gloomy skies don’t last forever. ☀️Behind the clouds, the sun is still shining. And in our lives, behind the heaviness, God is still working. “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” – Psalm 30:5 💬 Today: On a gloomy day, how do you remind yourself that brighter skies are coming? - Do you pray or open the Word? - Do you listen to worship music that lifts your spirit? - Do you simply pause and breathe in gratitude for what God is doing? Let’s share encouragement with each other today. Your reminder might be exactly what someone else needs when their own skies feel gray. ✨ Remember: Clouds may hide the light for a moment, but they can never extinguish it. God’s promises are always shining. 👇 Drop your reflection below and let’s lift one another up today!

I actually love cloudy day’s. Even better if it’s storming. Thunder and lightning used to be something I hated since I was a child. Thing since I had my own, I found myself needing to be brave for them. I used to tell them, “There’s nothing to be afraid of, the angel’s are just bowling. They’ll move on in a bit.” That seemed to comfort them. I’d have remind myself, “Hey, I sun is still there, it hasn’t gone nowhere; and if it happened at night; I’d remind myself that God is still there watching over me. I began to love stormy nights. That’s when I can sleep best. The thunder is like a lullaby to my ear’s. On days that I may be feeling a bit off, I pray and I listen to all these songs that encourage and lift me up, and before long I’m singing and worshipping the Lord.🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

@Melinda Chadwick oh Yesss, me too! Another song that I’ve loved and used to sing was “Tomorrow” that song brings me to tears just thinking of the many times I rejected Him, believing I had a lot of time to live my life my way. I’m so glad He was patient and watched over me, for there were many times I can think of, that I could have died. Song’s remind us of who we were and who we are today because of Jesus.🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

New Favorites from Jon Reddick’s “No Fear” album. When you’re feeling like the enemy of our life is pushing hard on you or your family, This one will get you in battle mode against the devil, through Jesus Christ. “No Fear” and “Don’t Fight Alone” And if you’re feeling like there’s a disconnect between you and the Lord; or you just want to keep declaring your faith in you. Try our Jon Reddick’s song, same album “Yield”. I love this album. Well actually he has a lot of great songs! Sometimes I have a hard time deciding who I want to listen to.🤭 Hope everyone has an incredibly blessed and productive week in the Lord.🙏🏼 Peace Be Within You, ALWAYS!🕊️
🙌 Testimony Tuesday – Let’s Celebrate What God Has Done!
Every week is full of ups, downs, challenges, and surprises. But through it all, God is faithful. Testimonies remind us that He is still moving, still speaking, and still showing up in ways big and small. “They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.” – Revelation 12:11 💬 Today’s Prompt: Take a moment to reflect on the past week: - Where did you see God’s hand at work? - Was there a prayer answered, even in a small way? - Did you feel His peace in the middle of chaos? - Or did you simply notice His presence in your daily walk? Your testimony doesn’t have to be dramatic to be powerful. Sometimes the smallest victories carry the greatest encouragement. ✨ When you share, you’re not just remembering what God did for you—you’re reminding someone else that He can do it for them too. 👇 Drop your testimony below, and let’s build up each other’s faith today!

Share your testimony — big or small. Your story might be the encouragement someone else needs today. “Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story…” – Psalm 107:2 ✨ We love hearing your testimonies and watching this community rally around each other with prayer, support, and celebration. 👇 Drop your testimony below and let’s lift up God’s name together today!

📖 Scripture & Reflection – Rooted in Truth
Sometimes we skim the Word like it’s a headline. But when we stop, breathe, and reflect, God’s truth takes root in our hearts — and that’s where real change begins. Reflection isn’t about checking a box. It’s about asking: - What is God saying through this verse? - How does this apply to my life right now? - What step is He inviting me to take? “The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.” – Isaiah 40:8 💬 What verse has been standing out to you lately? - Write it down. - Reflect on why it’s hitting you now. - Share your verse + reflection below so we can grow together. You might be surprised how your verse becomes someone else’s encouragement today. 👇 Drop your Scripture and reflection in the comments — let’s fill this space with His Word alive and active.

Psalm 23 has also always been a favorite. One that I’ve heard in my teens, and continue to hear and come across often. But then there’s also Psalm 91, as it’s reassuring the heart, mind and soul of the Believer.
