Who's your dream client? ✨
Matthew Thompson asked me this question a couple months ago.... And I gave him a crazy answer... "Max Perzon" I then proceeded to gush for 10 minutes about how much I loved skool and how cool it would be to write for someone that was helping to grow the platform. Turns out Max was in the room. And Matthew said, "We're going to introduce you to him." After a moment of panic and I walked up and shook his hand. Its been crazy cool contributing to his brand however I can sense then. Moral of the story? Figure out who your dream client is, because they might just become your real client. @Patrice Moore Thanks for the advice. I agree they need to be interviewed more thoroughly What rules do you establish - out of curiosity? also what do you think - how tightly to stick to the scope? Had a guy literally today be a pain in the ass asking for more and more Any advice --> appreciated :)

@Keith Berg Hi Keith I made the mistake of doing something a little extra (my mistake)--> then the person kept changing it and asking why it wasn't working :L Anyways --> no longer to veer beyond the scope haha
Intro
Heyoo, my name's Braydan, From Utah in the USA. I'm currently working on my copy as it's a major thing that's involved in the online space. I may just be trying to make a course but with everything you do online you'll go a lot further if you can simplify it as much as possible.

What should I do?
🚀 Quit my job at Duolingo to start my own business! 🤔 Which niche should I dive into - (1) pitch deck writing, (2) content writing, or (3) newsletter writing? 💡 Any advice for this newbie entrepreneur?

Pitch decks --> huge opportunity imo Finance people spend all day making these things Might be difficult to land clients unless you know people!
Finding content ideas that stick isn’t easy.
Let’s go back to the basics: more demand means more supply is needed. So, you need to know what content is in demand in your niche. Being on social media and monitoring trends is one thing, but there’s too much content and insufficient time. So, here’s how I’d solve it: - Find a few (successful) content creators in your niche - Scrape their comments and find what people are asking about - ‘Train’ an AI to generate outlines and hooks for content ideas - Generate a list of ideas in your inbox every week. Let me know if this helps you generate better ideas! Shoot me a message if you're stuck, happy to help

@Andrea Lepcio Connect APIs (online software) to each other i.e. connect gmail to a CRM to send emails or connect Chat GPT to a google doc to generate text Essentially --> moving data from one platform to another As well as some more custom functions (like watching for changes in a google sheet) Seriously amazing stuff when you get the hang of it (no code solutions)
