Recent Success?
What is something you have done lately that you view as successful? New policy/procedure that has worked well? Added a new treatment? Changed how you handled a certain injury? Excited to see where we all are growing!

@Jt Blanke nice! How did you do that? App, pen and paper?
Hey y'all
Hey I'm Tyler, born and raised in Lincoln, NE. Went to UNL then was in East Texas for 4 years as a GA/ full time AT. Moved back to Lincoln now to raise a family and am in my 6th year working at my HS alma mater and am teaching Pilates on the side cause the school salary isn't enough to support a whole family by itself. Which is why I'm working to build an AT business to be able to get out of the school position.

LE RTP in Collegiate Soccer
Hi! I’m seeking insight on time restrictions for soccer players returning from a LE soft tissue injury, such as a hamstring strain… what time restrictions do you typically utilize? How much do you increase per game? I know each patient is different and you cannot generalize RTP; however, I’m hoping to gather some knowledge on how other ATCs typically progress an athlete through their first few games back. Keep in mind this athlete has transitioned into training fully. Thank you!

I think it definitely depends on your team, your coaching staff, practice intensity, etc. I’d prolly start with a minute/game intensity of 10-20% increase of full go in practice. So if they go 20 min full go in practice, 20-25 min the first game, and then elevate that each game/practice as you see fit. One of the benefits of college soccer is the ability to sub in and out as needed. So if this individual does the last 10 minutes of the first half, but then can come in halfway through the second half and see how long she can go.
Starting Tips
For those on here that have started their own business, would you mind dropping some tips to starting?? I’m looking to get started on my own as well as I have recently moved from full time ATC to teacher with the idea of doing this! Thanks!

Make a business Instagram and post consistently on there! Trial reels are something I wish I started way sooner. Hard to have a business if no one knows who you are!

@Olivia Ramsey you can find a new doctor, or ask your current doc if you can do private work on your current standing orders.
