Advice from my fellow cleaners
Hi Everyone, I hope you are all doing well. Just after taking part in the fantastic workshop ran by Kim on this Saturday just gone, I’ve had this land in my inbox this week from a very large installation company who funnily enough I’ve worked alongside when I was doing installation. This is one of two brand new installations they are doing and their client has asked to have a yearly ongoing clean included in the price and they’ve came to me for that. I was just looking for a rough guide on pricing something like this as larger arrays will be new to me. This one has 279 panels being installed the other ones a bit smaller. Of course the panels a year after installation should not be that bad so I highly doubt I’ll be fighting Lichen and it will be a run of the mill clean on every visit (hopefully 🤞🏻). Also the Qleen would be perfect for something like this am I right in thinking? I appreciate and welcome any advice, thanks guys much love 🖤

@Kim Verduyckt Fantastic Kim thank you very much. Yeah I figured the Qleen would be perfect for this. I’ve already got a quote off of Justin for everything I need for one so will be making the purchase going into 2025. Much Love mate appreciate you

@Jochem Kroezen I did not Jochem no. I’ve been busy this week trying to make some good creative content on the back of Kim’s workshop to use in my ads, which I think I have now got! They found us through google our presence is now pretty good in the surrounding areas and where I’ve targeted with landing pages.

7 separate houses in a row completed today, take a look at the results! ✨
As the title suggests we had 7 houses in a row with the same solar setup. We carried out a solar clean and full gutter clear (all gutters) with our SkyVac on every property. Started at 8 in the morning finished at 15:30 no breaks or stopping just getting it done. Results achieved using Chemiteks LRA and solar safe scraper blades. Take a look!

@Audrius Gudas Hi Audrius. You are correct this was a row of seven domestic houses all with the same setup of solar and the solar all with very similar soiling. I will list the process below it is surprisingly simple! - Pre treat the panels with Chemitek Lichen removal agent, leave for 10 minutes for it to soak into the Lichen. - Using pure water to simultaneously lubricate we removed the Lichen with Solar safe plastic scraper blades. - Rinse the panels with jets of pure water from a water-fed pole to remove the bulk of dirt and Lichen remains. - Layer clean the panels one at a time paying close attention in moving any dirt off of the frames of the panels. - A final rinse from the water-fed pole with pure water on each panel. I hope this helps if you have any further questions please ask away.
