This is my submission! I’m happy with the shape and design of the character, but I feel my rendering was over complicated. I’m currently re-rendering the piece, but wanted to submit something for the challenge. Had a lot of fun! I might take this guy and develop him further for my personal projects.

Happy new year everyone! Hope you all rested well over the holidays. I was wondering if anyone had any goals for the year in terms of art progression? For me, I want to design a character per month, so that by June I will have a strong enough portfolio to begin applying to industry positions. I also want to refine my rendering process, and tackle it head on rather than shy away. What’s your goals for the year?!
