Rocking this bad boy today. My newest pickup and boy is it a crowd pleaser. Me being the crowd that is. Guess we will wait and see what the other volleyball parents think. It has this smoky, fruit non-sweet scent that is just incredible and I want to bathe in. It kind if does remind me of my years bar-hoping in Tokyo in my 20’s. Brings to mind the bright lights, the people yelling, the food carts, and some how the streets smelling almost comforting. Lasts a good 6-8 hours. Anyway, as usual stay smelling great my brothers.

Flew down to LA to meet up with up with my boys @Aditya Choksi @Thomas Chavez @Steve Louis and do some shopping for the day. Had my heart set on bringing back a bottle of Woods Symphony or Royal Tobacco, maybe the entire Essence line.. 😂 Nordies had 15% and free engraving, but they were out out of stock on both. Last stop of the trip, we hit up the Guerlain boutique, fell in love with Tobacco Honey and this beauty. It's not a sillage beast, scent bubble is modest, can easily heavy spray. Well blended. To me this was a great add, nothing like anything else that I have and that is what I was looking for. They even tossed in free ship, since it was 125ml, which is too big for carry on. If you happen to go to the SoCal location at South Coast, Gigi was great! Have you tried Tobacco Sahara, what do you think? Any other recommendation from Absolus Allegoria line that I should check out?

I’m going out for a fancy dinner tonight and so I threw on some Lucius. Applied a bit more than usual because I needed to get a haircut first a few hours before dinner and didn’t want it to die down too much beforehand. My Lyft driver was like “Brother, you smell good! What is that?” And at the barber I was sitting near a fan and two barbers were going crazy because it filled the room - they were like what is that it smells fantastic! They apparently both collect cologne and had never smelled Lucius before. Theee compliments in 1/2 hr?? Overspraying Lucius for the win! Thanks to @George Hernandez for putting me on to this one, it quickly became one of my favorites

I decided to buy a fragrance on my travels, and the new I Will from Giorgio Armani was the winner. I didn't need another designer. I didn't need another date night frag... but I was at the mall with my date, and she picked I Will as the scent she wanted on me most. I gave her a bunch of blind samples to choose from. It beat out the new D&G The One Parfum, JPG Le Male Le Parfum, Rabanne Phantom in Red, and Spicebomb Infrared and Metallic Musk. (The One Parfum was her least favorite.) She chose correctly. This is a major compliment getter, probably the most compliments I've ever received on a fragrance in a single day! It's a crowd-pleasing, easy-to-wear sweet aromatic that does its job well. I wore it two days in a row, and it's more versatile than I expected. It was perfect for a nice dinner that evening, and just as good at a hamburger stand at noon the next day. It's ideal for fall and winter, but I wore it up to 23°C (73°F) and was still earning compliments everywhere I went. I think it would even work on cooler summer nights. Suitable for men of all ages. Projection and sillage start fairly strong, but after 3–4 hours it dries down to a beautiful woody vanilla that's perfect for cuddling. After 14 hours of wear (and sleeping), my date still had a hard time ending a hug because I smelled so good! I know many have complained about its lack of originality, and they're right. I Will isn't breaking new ground, and it reminds me of several popular frags. But it does its job, getting noticed and getting complimented, very well. Women seem to love it and will stop you to tell you so. I got compliments from gray-haired ladies yesterday. I don't understand the hate. It smells fantastic, and women of all ages love smelling it. And my 8-year-old son, Will, has been asking me to buy him this, because he thinks his girlfriend will love it on him (and it shares his name). 😄 7.8/10 for me.
