🎉✨ Vato’s Locos, help me welcome Deb Foster to the familia! ✨🎉
@Deb Foster is the creator and host of the Gen X Juggler Podcast, where she dives into the beautifully messy, wildly real season we call midlife. You know… yesterday we were the feral 80s kids riding bikes till dark, and today we’re juggling careers, kids leaving the nest, aging parents, grandbabies, and wondering when exactly we became the adults. 😎🔥 Deb started her podcast after realizing life didn’t slow down in her forties—it sped up. With one child still at home, older kids launching into adulthood, becoming a grandparent, caring for aging parents, and trying to remember to take care of herself mentally, physically, and spiritually… she knew she wasn’t alone. So she created a space for real conversations, humor, and heartfelt insight to help midlifers feel seen and supported. That’s the kind of energy we love around here—honest, human, and heart-centered. ❤️ Deb, we’re so glad you’re here. Vato’s Locos is all about connection, creativity, and good humans lifting each other up—and you fit right in. Familia, make her feel at home! 🏡🔥

Welcome @Deb Foster - love the concept of your Juggler podcast 👍
💰✨ Let’s welcome Barbara Schuler to Vato’s Locos! ✨💰
@Barbara Schuler is passionate about helping people ask a powerful question: Is your money really working for you… or quietly losing value over time? With inflation being very real, she focuses on educating and empowering others to protect their purchasing power and think differently about how they save. She’s also a very valuable member of the Owwll community and one of its highly respected and helpful brand ambassadors—always generous with her time, insight, and support. That kind of leadership and service is exactly what we love around here. 🙌 Barb, we’re excited to have your voice and experience in the familia. Vato’s Locos is stronger with you here. 🔥🏡 Everyone, let’s give her a warm welcome! 💀✨

Hi 👋 Barbara 👍
Are you on Owwll?
For any Vatos that are also on Owwll, our very own Paul Vato will be one of the presenters for tomorrow’s Owwll Zoom tutorial. Let’s join and support Paul for those who are available on Tuesday (3/5) @ 4 pm ET. Also, any thoughts on potential collaborations we can do between Skool and Owwll? FYI - this post is a result of me texting Paul via Owwll. I think text is get add on to the Owwll platform. Thoughts?

Feb 2026 Check-In
Hope all the Vatos are doing well. February has been busy. Wishing all those who observe a happy and successful start to Lunar New Year. I like the updated post categories Paul. Has anyone tired the Skool Live/Video feature?

Feb 2026 Check-In
Great Idea!
Thanks Paul for creating this discussion! I’ve been taking care of my mom for about a year now. She is in a facility, but the staffing there is basically there to earn a paycheck and do as little as possible. So, I visit her daily or at the very least six days per week. I’m there for about an hour or so, and I bring her something that she can eat. She is on a mechanical, soft diet, and their answer to that was putting all of her food in a blender. How awful! So I bring her soft foods, like putting, single serve pieces of carrot, cake, and similar, and of course every Friday is “hot fudge Friday“ where I bring her a hot fudge sundae from Dairy Queen. I also provide her snacks to hold her over until the next day. Soft snacks, like Hostess Cakes and bags of mini donuts. Another thing we (Kristine and I) do is her laundry. She was starting to get other peoples’ clothes in her laundry, and her clothes were disappearing. Plus, she loves Downy fabric softener, so we load her wash up with that! I will straighten up her room and make her bed each day, and set out some clothes for the next day. I’ll take her for a walk (or 7🤣) around the memory care unit to get her out of her room and moving. With the travel time and the time that I spent there, it’s upwards of a three hour daily chunk. I have to manage which part of the day that’s going to be in so that I can still work, and keep up with some of the demands of bus life. That’s just my little story. I hope to hear from the rest of you!
