HMO help
Iโve come across a deal in a Facebook group thatโs local to me. I want to speak to the sourcer thatโs advertising it to see if itโs a legit deal. Iโve never really looked in to HMO deal before although I did have a rental that accommodated students about 10 years ago. What sort of questions should I be asking to verify that itโs a legit HMO thatโs set up correctly?

Hi, thatโs a great post! Iโm in the process of sorting contracts out for my tenants. Their original contract is valid until July but I know from the 1st May it goes to the rolling style automatically. But does anyone have a draft of the new style contact to issue to tenants? Any help would be appreciated

Honest opinions needed ๐ Iโve come across a deal that looks really good and has got me thinkingโฆ I donโt have a huge amount in the pot right now, but I could potentially afford to start with one Airbnb. The only thing is, Iโve been advised not to go into it without a proper financial safety net โ which I do understand. But then it makes me wonderโฆ how does anyone actually get started if they wait until everything is โperfectโ? ๐ค Would you take the risk with no real backup, or play it safe and wait? Really interested to hear from people whoโve been in this position โ what did you do and would you do it again? Opinions please ๐

I agree with the above. If I can afford to wait for it to get up and running to start making a profit id do the deal. I understand there is no such thing as the perfect time but on the other hand there is always another deal. Donโt feel pressured into anything. We are in this for the long term so donโt put yourself out of the game on your first deal.

Morning all, I just want to clarify before I do anything but when members post their deals in the marketplace are we able to show them on our socials or only to our closed group of investors? Ie our own WhatsApp group for instance.
