Hey everyone I’m Buddy! I’ve lived in Salinas for pretty much most of my life. My interest are pretty wide. From being a Star Trek nerd to loving being out in nature on hikes or playing frisbee are some of the things I enjoy. What I’m really hoping to learn from this community is YOU ALL. I’m sure you all can feel it with the growth of becoming an adult that sometimes we find ourselves trying to find out who we want to be and the people we truly want to be around that only push us to be our better selves. So I’m hoping to find those connections here with you all and with our faith. My testimony feels like a life story (I’m sure you all can relate) But what it comes down to is that faith saved my life when I was going through the worst moments of my life amid Covid and breaking up with someone I truly loved. It allowed me to start finding myself again. But don’t get me wrong! I’m still along my healing journey and I’m starting to see what’s on the other side of that horizon. ——— September is the month of suicide awareness. So if you’ve been like me in those hard moments. Know there is a reason to keep going no matter how hard it can get. You’re loved! You matter! Remember that things will get better if we choose to strive to look towards it.

Hey everyone! Thinking about my spiritual life I would rate myself a 4/10. I find myself more at the beginning of my renewal to my faith, it isn’t fully in my life as the religious parts of my family is but I do try to implement it into my life. Through praying the rosary on my way to work and using it as a way to reflect on my life and where I want it to be. It all takes work. And I know I’m taking my first few steps towards it.
