I’m new here (I suppose that’s basically true for everyone) - but am still unsure of what an online “community” looks like. I don’t know that I’ve ever really been a part of one. I’ve been in and out of a lot but it’s tough to develop trust and commitment when the barriers for entry are low and the costs to leaving are nil. Don’t get me wrong - my intention is to stick around and build something, but I’m curious about what really is distinctive here. There’s more noise that ever - what is the signal we’re sending? I’m here to show up, be accountable, find connection, learn from others, listen to lessons, share my truths, be honest…not that I’ve done any of that yet…I also feel spread pretty thin. How do really dig in when I already have a lot of other commitments? I suppose I might start but cutting out some of the crap, or just lesser priorities. Also, what’s the challenge around posting? Where do I find the guidelines on the challenge?
