New Bathtime Sensory Experience
Have you guys seen this stuff?? The FIRST time I put some on my son we wiped it all over his body! It’s body wash! So for the first time in his entire life he put his own body wash on 🥹 I’ve been really impressed with it so far! Have you guys tried it before?? What are your thoughts? Good? Bad? Maybe?

I'm thinking of trying this. My son avoids getting clean. Also he will only take a bath, no shower. Maybe it will make bath time easier.

My son is usually very angry as he struggle to regulate his emotions. We had a whole day with NO anger and NO meltdown. It was like a vacation!

Welcome to the Supporting Autism Mama Circle 💛
Hi everyone, I’m so glad you’re here. I created the Supporting Autism Mama Circle to be a safe place for parents raising special needs children to connect, share experiences, and support each other. Parenting can feel overwhelming sometimes, and my hope is that this space becomes a little village where we can learn from each other and celebrate the small wins together. Inside this community we’ll talk about things like: • regulation • routines • sensory needs • sleep • creating calmer homes for our children But most importantly, this space is about parents supporting parents. To get started, I’d love to get to know you. Introduce yourself in the comments and share: • Your name • How many children you have • Something your child loves right now I’m so glad you’re here. 💛 Here’s my little family of 6 💕 – Kimberly

Hi, I'm Brittany. I have a 17yr old bonus girl Ella, a 12yr old son Logan, and a 5yr old girl Amara. Logan was diagnosed with ADHD in 1st grade. In 2nd grade he was diagnosed with autism. And just last year we told it was autism with PDA. Logan is obsessed with anything cow, hockey, and hot wheels. And we joke that when he tisms, he tisms HARD bc he'll know things you wouldn't think a normal 12 yr old would know about. For example, you can name almost any hockey player and he'll tell you what team they play for and if he likes them enough, he can even tell you they're position on the ice. In our house we struggle with a set schedule as I personally struggle with insomnia and being perpetually exhausted but I also struggle with pain on a daily basis. So I was never able to stick to a schedule for him. We also struggle with emotion regulation. Logan has a hard time processing feelings and when he let's them out, he's mostly angry and screams a lot. Its exhausting! I love my family bunches though and I wouldn't change him for anything. We express to him all the time that being different doesn't make him any less, it just makes him himself.
