Which Ad is better to use for the DFY VSL???
BE PREPARED FOR THE UNEXPECTED...... My name is Kevin Alexander. I grew up in the trucking business. My dad was an owner operator. We didn't get rich but trucking provided what we needed. When I was a child my sixteen year old brother was following my dad while he was moving some equipment. Unfortunately, another driver lost control and hit my brother, killing him instantly. A few years after this tragedy my dad was loading 4 1/2 inch drill stem pipe onto a flatbed when the load shifted. The pipe rolled off the trailer and pinned my dad under 48,000 pounds of pipe. My dad was not supposed to make it, but after many months in the hospital and many surgeries dad got to come home. However, he was still not able to work. We had no income coming into our home. Times got real tough real quick around our house. You’d think these two stories would be enough to deter me from the trucking business, but it didn't. I guess it gets in your blood as many drivers will say. Years later I busted a fuel line on my truck and while I'm sitting on the side of the interstate waiting on roadside assistance another truck sideswipes me totaling my trailer. There I was, no way to work and no income coming into my house. However, the bills didn't stop, only my income did. Mortgage still had to be paid, vehicle payments still had to be paid, and my family still had to be provided for. Things were tough! It was at that time I made the decision that neither myself or my family would ever be in this situation again. I started researching and I found a way to protect myself and my family against these things. Now I show drivers all over the country how to protect their income in the event that they become injured or ill. I show drivers how they can have a financial future so they don't have to worry about what they are going to do when they get ready to park that truck and hang their keys one day. Being a driver is one of the most important jobs in this nation and I believe you should be taken care of as such.!

I like them.. have you thought about combining the two, but keeping it short and sweet. Like when your dad came home from the hospital and then again when you lost your income, adding the details from the second one? i.e. “Something had to be done. I started researching for ways to prevent this from ever happening again, and other ways that I could protect my family for ANY unexpected situations that could occur. Turns out, there are lots of things you can do to protect yourself and your family. I wish I had known about them before, but I’m glad I know about them now, and have made it my mission to make sure other drivers know about them too. Whether it’s protection from a loss of income, unexpected illnesses, or accident, setting up your retirement, or planting a seed to fund a future business, I have found a way to help.” I don’t know.. just a thought.

New to Life Insurance
Hi All, I'm new to life insurance. Though I've been in top producer in the health/medicare space for 10 plus years now I have very little experience in life. I have some appointments through my IMO (not sure if I should be posting the name of the IMO here?) but I'm wondering if there are some appointments that I absolutely have to have to be able to do my best?

Everyone is always nervous when they’re first starting out. The worst thing you can do to yourself is try to “learn” everything before you go run appointments. You will learn as you go, I promise. All you need to do is get in the home and make a friend… Then call your up line at your IMO or whoever to get clarification if you need to. I have been doing this for three years and I still learn new things when I am sitting with my clients. . And Welcome!
Carrier Help?
I'm looking for a new carrier for Life Insurance, right now! I not sure what type of policy to write at the point, but would like to have something that will book quickly and pay quickly. does anyone have any suggestions?

I agree with Marie on NLG. Other carriers that are pretty quick to issue and pay, in my experience, are Mutual of Omaha, Colombian life group, Americo, and F&G life.
