Myth Monday ❗️
Myth: “Natural” ingredients are always safer for sensitive skin. As an esthetician who works with oncology clients, I see this one a lot. Essential oils, citrus extracts, and botanical fragrances are natural and some of the most common sensitizers in skincare. “Natural” ≠ gentle. Always check the INCI list, not just the marketing. What “clean” ingredient surprised you? 👇

A win for the week for a new solo esty
I just want to share a win , I just had a client who said she found me on Tik Tok! And I literally just posted only one video the other night of a service I did . As much as I hate social media , all of my posting is starting to pay off . I also did a model call on Threads and received so many responses of interested ppl that it was overwhelming

🌿 Feature Friday: Dermalogica Pre-Cleanse
We talk a lot about what we put on our skin but are you starting your routine the right way? Enter the step most people skip: the pre-cleanse. Dermalogica’s Pre-Cleanse is an oil-based cleanser designed to be your first cleanse of the night. It works by dissolving excess sebum, sunscreen, makeup, and environmental buildup before your actual cleanser even touches your skin. Think about it. If your face is covered in SPF and pollution from the day, your cleanser is spending all its energy fighting through that layer instead of actually cleaning your skin. Pre-Cleanse clears the path first so everything that comes after actually works. ✨ Emulsifies with water so there’s no greasy residue ✨ Preps skin to absorb your actives more effectively ✨ Gentle enough for all skin types including sensitive If you’re layering serums, doing treatments, or working on fading hyperpigmentation your products can only perform as well as your canvas allows. A proper double cleanse is the foundation everything else is built on. Now I want to hear from you 👇 Are you double cleansing? Do you use a pre-cleanse or a dedicated first cleanse? If so, what are you using? Drop it in the comments and let’s talk about it!

@Nicole Montgomery ok! I’ve never tried Esthetology but I’m going to look into! What do you like about the Micellar precleanse? I’ve really tried but it hasn’t got me yet.
