Let's Connect!
Thanks to everyone who has joined and reached out so far – I really appreciate you being here. One of my hopes for this community is that it's not just a place to learn, but a space where we can genuinely connect to support and inspire one another along the way. As Ram Dass said: "We're all just walking each other home." One of our new members, Niamh, shared this with me today: "I feel that I’m constantly reading books, finding tips, using them for a while, forgetting them and then going back to ruminating/worrying/spiraling down dark paths about the world's cruetly. My hope would be that this group would help me to stick with something and finally make friends with my mind." I'm sure many of you can relate. And my response: "This is not a path to walk alone. Without support, it's easy to lose clarity, motivation and perpective." So, here's my invitation: To share a group post saying a bit about yourself, where your at and what support you would would like in achieving your goals. And then leave a 2 or 3 comments on other peoples posts. Let's say hello to each other! I look forward to hearing from you all!

Hi Niamh, I really resonate with what Brian shared. Sometimes these clouds are just a bit of bad weather for the mind—and like everything, they do pass. I’ve found it’s not about chasing them away, but more about sitting in the moment, allowing things to be, and trusting that the blue sky is still there above it all. Knowing that things will pass really helps. For me, it’s been helpful not to get too caught up in situations, but instead to step back and observe. That shift has made it easier to stay present, rather than searching for too many different answers at once. I’ve also used a couple of the things Richard has taught, and honestly, they’ve been quite life-changing. From there, I was able to move forward and build on that foundation—it’s just starting small. When the mind can feel overwhelmed, it’s easier to focus on one thing and then build from there, rather than trying to layer too many techniques or take everything in all at once. Hi everyone as well—I’m Bridget, based in Swansea. I practice therapies, love healthy living, and really appreciate being part of a group like this. I also really value Richard’s teachings. Warmly, Bridget

Oh I am so glad it helped in some way Niamh and I find Richard's lessons so beneficial and it's just making that practice familiar to you and then you find old habits will pass. I used to be a constant worrier and feel judged by what people said and would overreact to situations and on just doing a few of Richard's lessons and his book really changed my attitude towards it and I will be forever thankful it's just making it all familiar to you and that that is the norm not the worry..... be an Observer to the mind
How noisy is the mind today?
Quick check-in: 1. On a scale of 1–10, how noisy is the mind right now? (10 = loudest) 2. How much is it disturbing your peace? (1-10). Drop your numbers below 👇 (Notice I said the mind, not your mind 😉)

I remember you saying that Richard and it really struck a chord with me and also about it's not what people are saying to us it's our reaction that we can control and change 🌟

Based in South Wales, I love nature, animals, and holistic living. My favourite moments are by the sea, in the countryside, and waking to birdsong.
