Free Wood!
Through the years, I've had many a project I wanted to do, which I couldn't afford the wood to make. This has caused me to look for alternative ways of finding that wood. Here are some of the best ideas I've come up with.

Ever Work with ApplePly?
I've heard about ApplePly for years, but never found a reasonably local source for it. Fortunately one of the woodworking stores, only an hour and a half from here, is carrying it. I go there from time to time, so it's a good opportunity to pick some up. I'll tell you... after working so much with construction-grade plywood and hardwood plywood that isn't much better, I'm impressed with the ApplePly. I explain why it's so great in this video.

I have used Appleply for years, its a good replacement for Baltic Birch,Im surpriced that the plywood industry hasn't come up with a plywood that would be as good or better plywood,
