Have You started You research yet? Where are You on your Family History and Genealogy Research journey? Wherever You are is ok, I’m just curious? I also have to say that often finding the time to start is the difficult thing! Just take the first step! I also have to say that if you get the “Bug” you may never actually finish! It’s an ongoing, and can be a life time passion. It’s also a great way to connect with family members, especially the older ones. Seniors often appreciate being needed and feeing appropriated.

My passion of the past 35 Years is Family History and Genealogy Research. Honestly, it’s hard to believe I’ve been doing anything for that long! Especially considering I’m only 29! Don’t worry, I’ll try to keep my bad humour to a minimum! I think it important I build at least a little credibility here, so know that I have self published two Books on the Subject, they’ve both been on the Amazon Best Sellers List. Growing Your Family Tree is sort of a Guide, while From Irish Roots is a lighter read with some recipes and personal thoughts about what is means, especially to me, to come From Irish Roots. You can find both of my Books, and other Resources on My Book Shop. I’ve also helped a number of people learn to do their own research and in some cases make some pretty incredible discoveries! I helped one girl find her 1960s California Birth Record and subsequently she’s been able to reconnect with her birth family. Another Girl that I helped reconnected with her birth Father. A good friend, MoJoe, I know I’m safe sharing his moniker as He quite willing tells his story, and hopefully he’ll do that here at some point. MoeJoe was able to discover His Birth Family with my help and I’m not totally going to spill the beans, as I hope He may join our Community and get to tell his story here. In my own family, through Ancestry DNA and Cousin Matches I’ve been able to pinpoint the family from which my Birth Mother’s Family come, and also, all but identify who her birth Father was. We think we know, just not 100%. Very close though! So, I tell You all this, because I want You to know I can help! Or at least I’m willing to try!
