Unique Assasin build help pls and ty
I'm wanting to make an Assasin that can Wild Shape to an extent and have Animal Companions and I'm trying to figure out the best method. I'm thinking in No particular order: Rouge(Assasin)/Ranger(Beastmaster OR Drakewarden)/Druid(Circle of the Moon) Any thoughts on Species/Background etc? For Clarification, using the 2024 Rules. Any ideas/concepts are greatly appreciated

At what level are you taking this to? Wisdom is important for some aspects of Druid, so balancing Dex and Wis can be an issue. Animal Friendship and Beast bond are available at Druid 1. You’d get summon beast at Druid 3. The attack=your spell attack modifier. So Wisdom becomes more important. Conjure Animals and Summon Fey at 5th Druid Level. Honestly if you’re playing a lower level game (tier 2 or lower) Staff of the Python and Druid 2 would do the trick. Any spell slots left at night, make goodberries for the next day. Since it requires a magic action, you might consider thief instead of Assassin as the surprise damage won’t make that much difference until rogue 5 (level 7) and even then not that big a deal. Also you can use the snake as a companion if you wanted, I only see a duration for how long you have to wait until you can use the staff again after it reverts to a staff.
New Series Vote
I'm going to start another series so I can pump out videos while waiting for the vote for the deep builds to come in. Here are a few ideas, let me know which one sounds most interesting!

@Sage Crane yeah I’ve found dumping INT on my Eldritch Knight is super effective and I know summoning/conjuring and utility are not spell DC dependent.

I’ve also been toying with a celestial warlock circle of stars multiclass, taking guiding bolt as a charisma spell using magic initiate cleric.
what TTRPG other that D&D do you like
I know this is a place where we talk about D&D but I want to know what other game do you like. I like Ishanekon Worlds shapers, very good game. another game I like is draw steel. very good game remain me of 4e.

I started in World of Darkness back in the 90s and I still have a soft spot for the system and especially VtM and VtDA. I played 3.0- 3.5 a lot and miss all the classes and options. It felt like a wider open game compared to now. And many of the content creators treat 2024 as 6.0 and ignore all the stuff that still is in effect shrinking the game to the PHB.

@Antonio Moreno I’ve seen on UA from WOTC, other than the three core books. There are 3rd party books on D&DBeyond but it’s always a mother may I using them at the table.

I like the utility of having a few spells. I lump the 1/3 casters and dippers into the half caster category. While martial are dominant on single target damage, there are times you need a trick up your sleeve.
