I’ve been doing the meditation every night for the last two weeks (most nights). I’ve found it to be very relaxing, though on a deeper level, two interesting things have emerged. 1) during the meditation, my experience has shifted. It’s as if I’m able to go deeper and have more profound meditation journeys. Like moving through different time lines/realities as well as connecting more fluidly to the “collective consciousness” and the experiences that go with that. There seems to be more presence and lucidity during the meditation. 2) Outside of meditation practice, there have been some subtle but profound shifts in my observations & experience of life and interactions. I’m not certain on how to describe it. Possibly more depth, spaciousness and reverence for everything that is happening around me. It hasn’t necessarily been easy or always pleasant but more calm and trust within that, if that makes sense. Thanks for sharing.
When was the last time you truly relaxed your body?
I don't think I've ever truly relaxed. The idea that calming the body first, then the mind resonates deeply with me. I realize I have been trying to approach this the other way around. I am eager to discover how prioritizing my body's needs will lead to a more peaceful meditation experience.

What is a Spiritual Awakening?

As you say, my awakening has been in layers. Sometimes quiet, subtle & profound, other times - out right carnage. Awakening is an ongoing process: stretching and growing AND then stretching and growing some more. Awakening and the resulting expansion of awareness is just the most amazing thing, even in the muck of it. I can’t imagine my life any other way and there’s no turning back for me - only enjoying the spiritual experience of being human, through presence. This just makes me so excited and filled with gratitude - to have found this path - it’s also been the hardest and most painful thing I’ve ever done but so worth it. Much love ❤️‍🔥

Little did I know then, that it would become my most frequent practice- even more than brushing my teeth. Life has more to teach us than we can ever learn, meditation is no exception.
