Here’s what’s LEFT right now: • Next Level (1st–2nd grade): 3 spots left • Game Ready (2nd–3rd grade): 4 spots left That’s it. Once these fill, we’re done no adding players, no overflow groups. If your athlete needs: • More confidence • Better habits • Real skill development (not babysitting) This is your window. 👉 Lock in your spot now before it’s gone: https://www.hestedtraining.com/hested-kids-281191

🏀 Learning How Great Shooters Stay Relaxed
Today we talked about something important in shooting: Staying relaxed when you shoot the basketball. A lot of young players are told to force their elbow tucked, but when players force positions it can actually make the shot feel tight and uncomfortable. Great shooters focus on staying relaxed and smooth so the shot feels natural. For our younger athletes, we want them to focus on: • Relaxed shoulders • Smooth shooting motion • Repeating good habits At this stage, the goal is building comfort and confidence with the basketball. Small details like this help players build a shot they can trust as they grow.

Why We Don’t Rush Games in K–3
Parents, One thing I want to reinforce about our Kids Program: We don’t start with games. And that’s intentional. At the K–3 level, development should focus on: • Balance • Coordination • Ball control • Confidence • Simple decision-making Games are exciting. Games don’t build foundations. Reps do. Correction does. Structure does. In a game, a young player might only touch the ball for a short amount of time. That’s not enough to build real skill or confidence. That’s why our sessions look the way they do. We’re building long-term confidence not short-term chaos. We want kids who feel comfortable with the ball, who move with control, and who know what they’re trying to do. That’s how confidence grows. Play With Intention. Now I’d love to hear from you 👇 Have you noticed a difference in your child’s confidence or control when they get consistent reps in a structured setting? Or is there something you’ve seen in games that made you realize they need more foundational work? Drop your thoughts below I love hearing what you’re seeing from the parent side.
