đź’ŽWelcome! Please Introduce Yourself :)đź’Ž
To kick things off, please comment below introducing yourself. Let us know... #1 - Who are you, where are you from and who do you work with? #2 - What do you want to get out of being in this community? #3 - For fun what do you like to do? #4 - Drop a photo of your office space or where you like to do work from. I'll go first... #1 - I'm Jean đź‘‹ A professional pilot who has spent my life mastering the craft. I now work as a chief pilot for a large company in Canada, that operates business jets globally. I am a husband and father of 3, and my passion has been to pursue the Golden Rule, and serve those around me (including my beloved family) with all my skill and passion. #2 - In line with #1, my heart and passion is to give back and pursue the Golden Rule in every way possible. Here on Skool, it means giving back to this awesome community through what I've learned in my 20+ years of professional experience #3 - I'm a creative at heart. When not working you'll find me drafting a kid's story, pictures to go with it, a video for YouTube or perhaps hanging out with my famjam and our community! #4 - see below!

Hi all! I was invited to join the group by @Jean Denis Marcellin last weekend. I've been flying for 31 years now (insane to say that) and have had the fortune of flying several types starting with gliders as a teenager through the CF18, Hawk, and Tutor (which I'm currently flying as Snowbird 1). For fun, I love sailing (very lucky to have taken a year sabbatical aboard a 42' sailboat through the Caribbean with my wife and two kiddos) and paragliding (possibly my favourite form of aviation). Looking forward to learning more through all of you!
Success Without Purpose: The Question That Shook Me
I’ll never forget a conversation with a close friend after he completed training on the Gulfstream G550. He was young, mid-30s, with everything ahead of him—yet he looked at me with desperation and asked: “Where do I go from here? I’ve done it all. There’s nothing left to achieve. My life feels meaningless.” It floored me. Here was someone at the peak of success, and yet he felt he had lost everything—his purpose, his identity—simply because he had reached the top. So the real question is this: what do you do after you’ve achieved it all? How do you keep growing, keep finding meaning, and keep contributing when you’ve already reached the summit? 👉 I’d love to hear from you: How do you stay intentional every day and continue to add value to those around you? Share your thoughts in the comments below.

This is an interesting one, but they aren't the first one to contemplate their career in this way! A book I highly recommend is "From Strength to Strength" by Arthur Brooks. It describes career progression more in relation to aging, and how to move from phase to phase of your life while preserving what we're all really looking for, happiness.
