This is really cool! The intro bass is so nice and I was really drawn into the atmosphere there. The drop is sweet, my only slight comment would be to (maybe) switch out the open hat for something a little smoother and less “white noise” sounding, but that could just be my preference. I think a good example of the vibe I was referencing was any BVRNOUT remix, I think specifically his one of “The Spins” you have similar big kick and hat patterns here, so maybe try referencing! Just a total suggestion though, I think what you did totally works. My only other constructive point would be maybe try playing around with the lead sound and variations in the melody. I really liked the octave jumps you did to create variation so that was awesome, but maybe find a way to add some call in response with changing presets for example to give a “push and pull” with its sound design. Once again, just suggestion but wanted to piggy back on what Ethan said above maybe a bit! All in all, great job man. If you kept it as is it sounds really great. :)

AERROW intro!
Hey friends. I’m an artist based out of Chicago, IL, currently in Gold Coast for any fellow chi people in here(bear tf down). Started producing a little over three years ago, started with hyper pop.. realized I can’t sing.. at all.. then found the melodic edm genre and enjoying listening and have been learning how to hone in production with that style. Currently 5 songs to my name all released within the last year or so, my sound started off as that typical sad boi bass but been teaching myself that more fun style of rocktronic and just more unique sounds overall so my songs sound more like me and not like the already big dawgs out there. Artist name is AERROW, if you’re curious! Save me is my most recent track, and have some fun ones going to come out over the next few months. Really excited to see so many new faces and a few familiar ones in here. Can tell talent is STACKED in here. Headphones Recs for Producing/DJing?
I think I’m in the market for some nicer headphones when working on music whether it be producing my own or working on mixes - any feedback on headphones you all have? For reference I just plug in my Sony WH1000XM4s to either my board or PC, and these headphones are solid but was still curious. Thanks!

Hey Leo! I know a lot of people use the Audio Technica ATH M50x! I used them for a few years and they were amazing, especially at the price point of only $100-$150. would highly recommend! I’ve switched to the Seinheiser HD 650, as I prefer open back to get a wider soundstage and more comfortable for long sessions, but I do still use the m50s as well! Hope this helps :)
