Grey Source Confidential...
Like everybody else, after starting out with retail research peptides (from USA based companies), I finally went down the rabbit hole of sourcing directly from China to save money. It's being a journey of scams, seized orders and some harsh realizations about how the industry actually works. If you're thinking about making the jump to save a few bucks, here is the breakdown of what you actually need to know before you send that first Bitcoin transfer. (Note: PayPal or Alibaba are NOT foolproof either! If a merchant goes AWOL or fights your claim it can take months to resolve the issue or you could even lose the money. Still they are the less risky bets.) NOTE: These same issues affect group buys as well, we have seen an uptick in prices in group buys that make you wonder if they are worth pursuing. 1️⃣ The Hierarchy of Sourcing Not all vendors are created equal. In the Chinese marker there are generally four levels of players: ➡ The Manufacturers: Actual integrated facilities. There's only a handful and they rarely deal with overseas individuals and mostly supply the internal Chinese market or massive wholesalers. ➡ The Primary Resellers: These guys buy in bulk from the factories. ➡ The Resellers of Resellers: This is where most "Direct" buyers end up. ➡ The Scam Tier: Websites that look professional but disappear the moment your payment clears. 2️⃣ The COA Fiction We all look for Certificate of Analysis (COA) for peace offend, but here's the reality... A COA is only part of the equation and does not guarantee the product you're getting is good. It only represents on vial and without batch control the COA is pretty much useless. The reality is most Chinese resellers have zero ability to do batch control. When you order, you have no idea if the vial you received is actually from the batch that was tested. A vendor might show you a COA for a "blue cap" vial, but that doesn't mean every blue cap vial in their warehouse came from that same production run. 👉🏼 So what can you do? Find companies that have a good reputation in the research peptide community and that do their own testing or;

Thank you for this Kiki! It’s really good to understand the risks vs benefits.
GLP Benefits!
❇️ For those familiar with GLP-1s, the focus has largely been on weight loss and blood sugar control. But new real-world data suggests something else may be driving their continued use. In a recent New York Times feature, GLP-1 users describe unexpected benefits that extend beyond weight loss—from relief from arthritis pain to fewer migraines to improved fertility to reduced cravings for alcohol and nicotine. ❇️ It raises an important question: what are people experiencing that isn’t being measured or applied clinically? A shift in how people respond Nearly one in eight adults in the U.S. has now taken a GLP-1. Among more than 2,000 GLP-1 users surveyed by the New York Times: - 59% reported better productivity - 45% noticed better memory -  40% saw improvements in fertility And most surprising? Nearly two-thirds said they would continue the medication even if it didn’t deliver on weight loss benefits. ❇️ GLP-1s beyond weight loss From a mechanistic lens, this isn’t as surprising as it sounds. GLP-1 receptors are distributed throughout the body, including the brain and immune system. Activation appears to modulate inflammation, metabolic signaling, and reward pathways, systems that play a key role in many chronic conditions.

@Kiki Riki Hello! I got the test yesterday so I’ll swab today and send it in! I’m so interested in seeing the results! Let me know what you learn from your hormone analysis. It’s kinda fun!
Grey Heartbreak! 💔
It's no secret all research peptides come from China... and if you're savvy you will jump through many hoops and then... boom! It didn't work out. We know because we've been there and although we have great sources it took us a while to get there and even then, there are outliers with the orders. So if you ever wondered about buying grey here is the risk: ➡ You could get scammed. ➡ Your package gets seized by customs. ➡ Shipping delays. ➡ Testing delays. ➡ Testing is expensive and sometimes if you go with a cheaper lab it can take ages to get results... ➡ The product is garbage. ➡ The WhatsApp contact disappears into thin air. Here are some examples (see the attached): 1. COA #1 Sermorelin 10mg - there was NO peptide detected, the whole batch (we buy in bulk) goes straight into the garbage. Bye bye peptide and test costs. The vendor will likely offer to resend, but we will have to pay for the test again. 2. COA #2 Tesamorelin 5mg - the net content of peptide was less than 2mg, not even half the amount. Again, this entire batch = garbage. 3. Communications with vendor... got a refund and never ordered from them again! But it also means we have to restart the process with someone else to get products. 👉🏼 So what can you do? 1️⃣ Buy from a reputable and affordable vendor like us! Balance the risk vs the benefit, sometimes buying 10 vials is not longer a good deal when you consider the cost of the tests and other risks. 2️⃣ Make sure to get as much info as possible about a vendor; positive reviews and feedback from other community members is a great way to find a source. Group buys are great so long as it's a good source, wait it out until you're ready to buy. Check out a couple of group buys before you hop in. 3️⃣ Never pay with Crypto! Only pay with PayPal or Alibaba (Alipay) that way if there are issues you can request a refund. 4️⃣ TEST YOUR PRODUCTS! We cannot stress this enough! No matter how long you've worked with a seller you still have to test every time you get a new batch. Most vendors you connect with on the grey space are brokers, they do not manufacture, they buy in bulk and resell. To buy directly from the manufacturer you have to buy more than 500+ boxes of peptides.

I got scammed as well - that’s why I’m so happy I found you. I know better and should have followed my gut but they were very good at what they do. I warn people every chance I get. If it’s ok to share the name here, let me know. I’ve chatted with 6 or 7 other people that got sucked in by them.

Why Using Units Instead of Milligrams Can Lead to Incorrect Dosing
👉🏼 In peptide discussions, one of the most common sources of confusion is how people determine their dosage. Many people will say things like, “I researched 20 units,” or “the dose is 30 units.” The problem with this approach is that units are not actually a measurement of the drug dose. Units only measure liquid volume, not the amount of peptide. 👉🏼 When someone uses units instead of milligrams to determine their dose, they are not truly measuring how much peptide they are taking. They are only measuring how much liquid they injected. Understanding the difference between volume and mass is extremely important for anyone working with peptides. ❇️ The Two Things That Matter in Peptide Dosing 🔸 Every peptide vial involves two separate measurements: 1. The amount of peptide (mass)This is measured in milligrams (mg) or sometimes micrograms (mcg). 2. The amount of liquid added to the vial (volume)This is measured in milliliters (mL). 💧 When bacteriostatic water or sterile water is added to a vial, it dissolves the peptide. This creates a concentration, which determines how much peptide exists in each small amount of liquid. 📣 Your true dose is always determined by the milligrams of peptide, not by the liquid volume. 🔸 What “Units” Actually Mean 💉 Most insulin syringes are labeled in units, typically from 0 to 100 units. But these units are simply another way of marking liquid volume. 💉 On a standard U-100 insulin syringe: • 100 units = 1 mL • 50 units = 0.5 mL • 10 units = 0.1 mL • 1 unit = 0.01 mL 👉🏼 So when someone says they measured 20 units, what they actually mean is that they injected 0.20 mL of liquid. 👉🏼 Notice what is missing here: The units do not tell you how many milligrams of peptide were in that liquid. 👉🏼 Why Units Alone Do Not Determine Your Dose The number of milligrams you receive depends on how the vial was reconstituted. ✅ For example: Scenario A 10 mg peptide vial Reconstituted with 1 mL Concentration becomes: 10 mg per mL
