All I have to say is this… people can take scripture and twist it to fit their narrative. The bottom line is even though we are children of God born by the spirit of God we are still human flesh. Yeshua who was 100% God and 100% man. He could’ve chosen to sin but he didn’t. We are 100% man and we have that choice as well. It’s a lot more difficult for us because we have to deal with the carnel flesh. We are not puppets. God has given us free will it’s what we do with that will that determines our actions. For someone to say that we do not and cannot sin makes God a liar, and he’s not a liar. We need to die to our flesh and hang onto the cross for dear life because it is only through the cross that we have true eternal life dying to our flesh, and KNOWING GOD not knowing about God, but truly knowing God. I can’t say I’ve arrived, i’m just a work in progress, but I do know that I live each day desiring to please God and to be obedient to him. Do I fail? absolutely! But I know that God knows my shortcomings, they’re not demonic they’re human. Once saved…always saved? Check out the scriptures that Mike posted and there are many more.
Cross
How about the real foundation of the faith, true gospel which is the cross, dying to our flesh by submitting it to God and allowing his Spirit to transform us into his image

I agree David. Mike’s information and explanation totally changed my relationship with the “cross”. People definitely need to hear that.
