😬 Hey friends! I know its been a minute and thank you all so much for your continue support, encouragement, and prayers for this project! I know i officially launched the GoFundMe 2 months ago when my best friend Janelle passed away mixed with some other heavy life events, and its been hard trying to keep up with the momentum and vision for this solo, and realizing everything resides on if we raise the fund or not to make this come to life! As of now i have a venue on May 30th for our going-away party here in Charlotte and a venue for our next city, Miami. We still need a lot of miracles and funding to make this fully come to life but i'm learning to build the plane after the leap of faith! Hi! Maria here. I am from South Florida. I am passionate about speaking life into people. Encouraging people. I believe in ripple effects and know how much our words and encounters with others can truly change the course of their day, month, year, life. I love rooting for people I love and being a witness to their growth and journey on this earth. I, too, have a story to tell - but I am not sure where to start just yet. I don't remember when exactly I found BC on IG, but it was during a critical time in my life where I, and whom I was living with at the time, needed to hear inspiration. In this season of my life, I am making a commitment to get back to playing music. I miss DJing and creating the environment for movement - though this time around, the vibe will be very different. (Shout out to Issa for bringing that inspo back into my heart! That is one of the great things about social media. P.S: support women DJ's!) Anyways, nice to meet you all!
