@Amy Fiorentino absolutely, this is such a good point. My younest son does so many different therapies there are often days that were jsut a write off from a "school" standpoint. Its a lot less now thag he is older but there are still days when academics are just not happening. There should never be guilt in that but when you only see the perfect intsagram worthy moments represented its hard not to feel that way.
Rainy day fun!
What types of activities do you love to do on rainy days? I love a good blanket fort.

Most of the time business as usual, but i do enjoy a good lazy day where we can all just chill in our own ways
The School Bus went by this morning
The school bus picked up the kids across the street this morning, and it was so satisfying to not have had to rush my kids out the door to catch it. Anyone else loving that their kids will be home with them right now?

Definitely! We dont actually hang out with a lot of other homeschoolers so my friends children all attend public school and it sounds like mornings are pretty hectic and stressful, im glad we can still slow mornings. My kids often arent even awake until 10 am lol they wouldnt fair well in public school
Homeschool laws and guidelines
What are the homeschool regulations/laws/guidelines in your area and practically what does that mean for you? Bonus link in the comments.

Also in ontario, and i am quite happy with very few rules to follow.
Ready set GO!....or not
Do you do anything special for the "first day of school"? A "not back to school" party? Beach day? (our personal favourite) or do you stick to home and appreciate that today is like any other day? (so many grammar errors but you get the idea)

We dont, not anymore. I work full time and my kids are bigger now. Its just a regular day now. We used to do a park of beach day (or something else fun) when they were smaller though
