Well, well, well... Apparently, we've got some very cautious detectives in the Guild! 🔎, one member who knows there is safety in numbers and one whose curiosity has her throwing caution to the wind. Of our seven votes, FIVE of you decided we should investigate the mysterious invitation before accepting. Smart choice. Maybe. Because here's what we discovered... The invitation bears a beautiful burgundy wax seal, stamped with a tiny flame. The exact same symbol engraved on the antique key we found last week. And after a little digging, we discovered something else. The invitation came from a woman named Eleanor Blackthorn, the former mistress of Blackthorn Manor. There's just one problem. Eleanor Blackthorn died in 1926. Exactly 100 years ago. And according to local records, Blackthorn Manor has been abandoned for decades. So who sent the invitation? And more importantly... Why does someone want us there? 🗝️ THIS FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 6, THE MYSTERY OFFICIALLY BEGINS. Introducing THE FRIDAY PLOT TWIST, a new interactive mystery where YOUR votes determine what happens next. One mystery. Three choices. A story we create together. And trust me, Guild... Investigating the invitation may have been the smartest decision you've made. Or the first mistake.

Welcome to November! I am still eating my way through Halloween candy because of course we needed a thunderstorm on Halloween. In the meantime, I have published the next installment of The Moonfire Correspondence and Relief Fiction. Both stories are about relationships but very very different. The Relief Fiction for November is called The Woman Who Was Almost There and it's about those friends who you hope to one day be able to depend on to show up but unfortunately, they are always just "almost" there. And Moonfire is coming at the perfect time because this Saturday we hold our in person immersive event. November's story finds Elara and Draven deepening their bond which is still fragile and sweet. And then there are the dragons. I love a good dragon and Moonfire is full of them. We may even catch a visual glimpse of them on Saturday. These stories are free and for Premium and VIP members there is a little something extra in your vault. Happy reading!

I have a new gate code. When you purchase an event ticket, please check your email for the new code.
