Backhand tips?
I’ve been trying to work on making my backhand feel more connected but everything just seems off. Does anyone have any tips that could help? Thanks!

footwork
best tricks and practices to help with footwork when hitting forehand or backhand?

For me, the biggest difference is staying active between shots and never settling after the split step. The adjustment steps are what determine whether I’m loading into the ball or making contact while still moving. On the forehand, I’m mostly thinking about creating enough spacing so I can load cleanly and rotate through the shot instead of crowding myself. On the backhand, getting the shoulder turn done early lets me focus on adjusting with my feet all the way into contact, especially against pace. I also think recovery is underrated. The quality of your first couple of steps after the shot usually determines how well you handle the next ball, especially once rallies get physical. A lot of the footwork gains at a certain level come from staying balanced and efficient rather than trying to move faster.
Best Racquets for Beginners?
I have a pretty heavy hand me down racquet so I’m curious if anyone has any good recommendations for beginner racquets that are on the lighter side :0

I think you can’t go wrong with the Pure Aero 98. I recently switched to the 2023 model and it feels amazing. It’s the best racket Ive ever felt. It feels super comfortable and smooth when I swing. Ezone is also a great call too
