Getting to hang out in person prompted some great questions for us yesterday. One simple question opened up the floor for us to get tactical together about what other community builders here in ATX were dealing with when trying to grow/scale their efforts. The point of this community is to help broaden perspectives and connect with others on the same journey. Chances are whatever it is we're dealing with has been a solved problem unless if defies the laws of physics or comes very close, like this cat here. So what has been on your mind that you're trying to solve?

@Roman Peschke how large is your community? I’d be open to doing this - we’re about 35 paid members so I don’t know if that would come off as insensitive. I love the idea!

We had an awesome time today getting together over at Kerbey Lane, and when you get together with likeminded folks, magic tends to happen. Here were a few things that came up throughout the conversation that I thought were special. 1- We all tend to know what we need to be doing, but for whatever reason we convince ourselves not to do it. 2- When you force yourself to describe your problems in a way that other people can understand, it can often coach you into the place where you need to be to solve that problem. 3 - Finding the thing that leaves your cup of energy full at the end of it is the most important quest you can be on. 4 - People sincerely crave the ability to get around other like-minded people. If you have an idea, you should just go after it and figure it out along the way. Create the space and focus on making it easy to engage and share. 5 - We need to try to rekindle that boldness that we had when we were kids. 6 - Ask more for forgiveness and less for permission. Yes, this means you are going to screw up a lot more things a lot more often, but you will also have more results than anybody else. 7 - The people that you look up to who are most successful are also the same people who have failed significantly more times than you have. We will be arranging another one of these coming up towards the end of September / early October. So don't worry if you missed this one. :) Stay tuned, more hangouts and learnings are coming!

This was extremely helpful and I have to be at the next one. Here were my main takeaways: 1. business cards I need to share with new leads 2. Ladder board for advanced meditation students 3. I need to host a free meditation event for Apple employees 4. In person testimonials are like gold and I can collect them with ease using my 360 cam at live events 5. Check in daily in my own community. Lead by example to get engagement Thank you everyone!
