What approach can i take to training so that it transfers to one-foot jumping for long jump? what kind of plyos develop that transition from horizontal to vertical?
You can do 5 step long jump to work on the actual jump mechanics. Basically you do a long jump but start super close and only get 5 steps. Lets you work on the jump at lower speeds. Once you master that, you can slowly increase the amount of steps you get, till your at a full long jump
