Welcome the the Virtual Assistant Advantage Community
I am trying something new. For over a decade I have sought to help moms to work from home and help provide for their families through providing virtual assistant services like I have done for over 18 years now. I heard about SKOOL and thought it might be just the tool I need to successfully relaunched my community and updated course. Tell me what you are looking for in this community. Thanks

I love that you are stepping into something fresh! What I am looking for in this community is simple. I want a place where I can ask the messy questions, celebrate the small wins, and connect with other women who are walking the same road. Accountability, networking, and being surrounded by faith-driven and purpose-led women who get it. I would also love to see what other VAs are doing in their businesses because there is so much we can learn from each other. More than anything, I would love access to practical training specifically focused on supporting and serving Christian authors. That is my heart and my dream, and I want to learn from someone who has actually done it well. Count me in, Alyssa.
Big news! 🎉
I’m officially preparing to relaunch the Become a Virtual Assistant course, and since you're in this community, you get a front-row seat. Over the next couple of weeks, I’ll be sharing:• Behind-the-scenes updates• Sneak peeks of the training• Opportunities to help shape the course• Early access opportunities If you’ve ever wondered whether becoming a VA could work for you, this will be the perfect time to explore it. First question for you: What is the #1 thing you want to learn about becoming a virtual assistant?

Yay! I'm so very excited for you. To answer your question... The one thing I would most love to learn is how to truly support Christian authors the way you do. I already have VA experience, but I'd love to understand how you broke into this specific niche, how you landed your first client, and what kinds of behind-the-scenes support Christian authors actually need most. If you were to develop a training program specifically for aspiring and established virtual assistants interested in serving the Christian community, I would be the first to sign up. Working alongside Christian authors is my dream, and learning from someone with 18 years of experience in this exact field would be invaluable to me. -------------- For regular VA training: The training I wish I'd had before starting my own business was the practical stuff, like how to set up your systems, onboard a client, send an invoice, track your hours and deliverables, track your expenses, understand your ROI, and actually read your analytics. I also wish someone had walked me through figuring out what I needed to make each month so I could set my rates with confidence instead of guessing. I would have also loved guidance on how to actually determine what services I wanted to offer, build out those offerings, and package them in a way that made sense to potential clients. Knowing what you're good at is one thing, but learning how to turn that into a clear, sellable service is a whole different skill that nobody really teaches you. And I would have appreciated someone showing me early on just how important it is to niche down. In my opinion, it's crucial to be extremely specific about your offerings and target audience. It feels scary at first, but the more specific you are, the more memorable and relevant you become.
