This is the most embarrassing thing I’ve done in a long time. Not only is the worst time of my vocal career being immortalized but this is also during a time I’m trying to pull myself out of a deep depression slump I’ve been stuck in. Yes that’s dirty hair and my jammies at 3:30 in the afternoon. IN MY BED. Eek. I couldn’t look at the camera even for a minute. Here’s to the beginning of progress! I hope!

Since I was about 20 years old I have always been drawn to bring people together especially bringing musicians together with community. I do think music brings people together and heals the wandering souls, but on-top of all of that I believe we can’t do this thing called life without community, without friends and family. So if you haven’t yet found your community, I challenge you this week to do something you have never done before , go join a book club, go watch a intimate show, go on a date, one art workshop something that may push you out of your comfort zone 😉 That’s why I do what I do, that’s why I decided to create a woman’s singing community because it’s not all about technique and hitting high notes It’s about being seen and supported by community whilst growing and learning .
