Fear of being seen…
For a long time, posting anything online felt impossible for me, because I didn’t feel safe singing in public. I’m curious if anyone else feels this too? In the last few years I overcame this fear, it’s also about being scared of being authentic and being rejected. Here’s what helped me: Letting go of the belief that something bad will happen if I share my voice with others. Especially, the belief that I will outshine others and that they will bully me for it. This might seem like a small shift, but actually changing a belief can be very powerful! I’m glad I can finally be seen for who I am online, even if it bothers some people. 🧡✨ What about you? Is there a belief stopping you from being the singer you know you truly are? 🌟

Every Artist Has a Beginning — What’s Yours?
This community is for anyone who feels called to become the singer-songwriter they were born to be. In the comments, share the moment your artistic dream was born. 🤔✨ I’ll start: For me, it began in 2006. My family and I left Peru and moved to Québec. I was 9 years old, thrown into a new country, a new language, and a school where I got bullied by the popular kids… and even by my own teacher. It was one of the hardest years of my childhood. But in the middle of that pain, something unexpected happened: I found the guitar. Or maybe… the guitar found me. I had one guitar class per week, and that Christmas my parents bought me a tiny, cheap guitar. It didn’t matter — that little instrument became my refuge. After school, when everything felt heavy, I would sit alone and play. Even if the kids at school didn’t like me, music gave me an identity. A place where I could breathe. My first dream was to become like Angus Young from AC/DC. Later, as a teenager, I fell in love with singing — Kurt Cobain, Eddie Vedder, Jeff Buckley… that raw, emotional kind of expression that grabs your soul. I’m not Angus Young, and I’m not Kurt or Eddie — but I am writing my own songs today. And you can listen to them on every platform under my name: Branco De Souza. Your turn: When was the first spark of your artistic dream born?
