Community Upgrade & Important News! April 2026
Good news. The private newsletter that I originally called “Jeweliet Has A Sword” has undergone some serious upgrades. Mainly because it’s grown beyond what I anticipated in the first quarter. First the updates, then the background for those who are interested. The name of this community is now called “Sovereignty.” An ode to freedom, creative problem solving, and power. Instead of being a place all about *my* success and failures- this is now a place for lessons on Sovereignty overall, focused on entrepreneurs. Okay, okay — but what does that *actually* mean? Haha. It means there are facts being distorted, information not being shared, and the best strategies rarely discussed openly. 👉🏼 So, this is the place they will be shared. The only major change (besides the name), per suggestions, is a monthly structure so you know what to expect. Most of what’s discussed I have done, studied, or witnessed myself. And a fair amount will be useful, intriguing research that deserves to see the light of day. The value is the same — what you get from applying the lessons and expanding what you see as possible. This is not a shift away from what you subscribed for. It’s an *expansion* of it. -- There will be 4 types of editions released each month (once per week). 👉🏼 All grounded in Sovereignty; lesser-discussed strategies, and real-world application. 1. Business Strategy, Systems, & Tools Tested strategies, deal mechanics, and financial systems that actually work — not theory, but things that move money, create leverage, or remove dependency. 2. Case Studies & Real Stories Breakdowns of real deals, decisions, and outcomes (mine and others) — showing what actually happened behind the scenes, including where things quietly went wrong. 3. Philosophy, Psy-Ops, & Behavioral Patterns The hidden forces shaping how we think, decide, and conform — with a focus on how these patterns show up in business, media, and everyday decision-making. 4. Health (Without the Noise, because it matters)

@Nabeel Azeez I agree
📚 New Book Club: Miracle Of Mind Dynamics
Do you enjoy books about learning to control your mind? Miracle of Mind Dynamics has surpassed 99% of the self-help books I've read - and I read.. A lot. Average about 1-2 books per week with high information retention at the same time. I will compare this book to Man's Search For Meaning, arguably, one the most influential books and quoted books of the last 100 years in self-help and philosophy. I am huge fan of Man's Search For Meaning, but upon reading Miracle of Mind Dynamics I prefer this one. It is far more practical in its analysis of the human mind, suffering, and meaning. Frankl gives you a profound existential frame: Suffering is unavoidable. Meaning is what that keeps you alive inside of it. Murphy gives you the actual tools: Here’s how to actually think when you’re inside the suffering so it doesn’t override your nervous system and your future. While Frankl tells you why meaning is important. Murphy tells you how to cultivate the mental conditions that allow meaning, peace, and momentum to emerge. -- Have you read this book? Give me your thoughts or other lesser-known book recommendations!

Finished reading this fascinating book: Don't want to spill too many details in case others want to read it... However, I thoroughly enjoyed the book, and I felt a sense of calm going through most of the book. My overall thoughts lean on agreeing with the author on the miracles

@Jeweliet Tangen the two key points that stood out for me: "All your difficulties are caused by mental patterns and beliefs lodged in your own subconscious mind. The great deception, in essence, is the belief in material causation." And "Negative and destructive thinking over a long period of time brought on diseased conditions." Based on my back to back black swan experiences (personal and financial) experiences over the past 3-4 years, the cycle of negative thinking led to health issues like weekly headaches and body aches that never wanted to heal (I'm looking at you hip flexor and IT Band) One of the five pillars I'm focused on for this year is spirituality and this book helped reaffirm the belief in using the power of prayer in relation to being aware of the patterns presented to your conscious mind.
📢NEW Edition: Favored International Residencies & Benefits
I have been traveling almost full time since 2019 and a lot of people ask how (and why). And no, it is not because I "location independent-ified my passion"...or whatever that means, lol. It is because I stopped assuming the rules I was handed were the only rules. This week's edition of Sovereignty is the most practical one I have written. 👉🏼 The specific countries, real numbers, and actual steps to accessing lifestyle and tax benefits internationally. The kind of information that usually costs $5,000 to sit in a room and hear someone explain badly. One international option costs only $87 to apply for and can be approved in three weeks. Another one lets you register a company remotely, run your international revenue through it, and legally pay one of the lowest corporate tax rates in the EU — while spending half the year wherever you want. The third option is where I have watched people completely restructure their financial lives… And the first step does not require leaving your house. If you have ever thought "I should probably look into that" and never did — this edition is for you. For lifestyle.. For taxes.. Or just to know your legal options to live internationally.. This edition helps you get a grip on how free you truly are and provides the exact steps to turning it into reality. JT -- To read the full edition go to the Newsletter Classroom! If it's locked for you join quickly growing "Sovereignty" newsletter and community: helping people think and act, as freely as possible. It's a pay-what-you-want community of highly ambitious and creative thinkers who value freedom and (lesser-known) information. I look forward to hearing your ideas of applying this edition!

📢NEW Edition: The Death Of Free Thinking - And Why It Matters
(Even To Entrepreneurs Who Usually Ignore Politics & Media) Published: March 15, 2026 The death of free thinking is something that matters more to entrepreneurs than most are aware. We tend to think, as high level workers, that we are above conforming and being manipulated. But since 1961 it’s been well documented that at least 74% of us would be wrong about that. We have a tendency to conform, to seek the consensus answer, and to stay silent even when we strongly disagree. Another study by Elizabeth Neumann named this the “spiral of silence” after studying why regular people stayed silent during Nazi Germany. I found that beyond interesting. Especially as we look at modern society where 69% of conservatives report being afraid to share their true views- and only 23% of strong liberals report the same feeling. What’s happening is that when it even just *appears* that the social consensus is one thing - the rest stay silent. And this is not about one side or the other winning- it’s about people not speaking out and feeling comfortable to share their true opinions. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see why that’s incredibly dangerous. When silence like that happens, it turns into the Spiral of Silence that Neuaman demonstrated where ideas go unchecked and become the new reality. Yes, this also happens in business. When you purchase *that* person’s service because they have a big following and then get mediocre results. Or every time it’s reinforced that building an AI agent is “easy and will transform your results”... Without citing that to build a truly effective agent takes dozens of hours of development and mid-tier technical skills. (That’s not the “no tech required” marketing that is being pushed.) And every time the top podcasters all start being sponsored by the same health supplements… Which slowly becomes socially accepted as ‘the best’ – even when evidence shows otherwise. In fact, that's so effective that smart consumers don’t even think to *check* if contradicting evidence exists simply because the group-think consensus has become so strong.

Another deep and well articulated post that has made me stop and reflect. I agree 100% with what you have written as I see it everywhere... An example ... Even on my 9-5 (which I can't wait to exit), I have provided evidence to my Manager of my heavy workload compared to my colleague and its fallen on deaf ears. Consulting with some colleagues, they parrot the same line "Put your head down and keep your mouth shut" and this is what I ended up doing - despite disagreeing with it. Reading this edition will certainly shift my thinking and allow me to use a different approach next time. Thank you for sharing another golden nugget!
📢 NEW Edition: The Contrarian Philosophy That Was Hard to Swallow... But Changed My Life
Published: March 2, 2026 “Trauma does not exist.” One of the most offensive claims in psychology.. And yet, it comes from the lesser discussed philosopher, Adler — whose work has shaped my thinking more than any other. When I first came across this idea I rejected it immediately. I believed trauma explained far more about our lives than anything else. It seemed counterintuitive to suggest otherwise. But the deeper I studied Adler, the more… unsettling his logic became. 👉 His philosophy rests on three core ideas: 1. We get benefits from the persistent negative things in our lives. 2. Because of that, persistent problems are often “goals” of the subconscious mind. 3. Freedom comes from radical responsibility. I’ve experienced what many people would label trauma, and along the way I even collected a few convenient diagnoses — cPTSD, attachment issues, ++. For years I believed those labels explained my patterns. I would say I wanted to change… That I didn’t want to push people away, didn’t want anxiety controlling my life, didn’t want the same relationship dynamics repeating themselves. 👉 But Adler’s philosophy forced me to ask a much harder question. What if the patterns I claimed to hate were also giving me something? Some personal examples. I have noticed that my anxiety often brought attention, care, and allowances from people around me. I noticed that repeatedly attracting the same kind of partner was simply familiar, and also gave me someone to blame - instead of forcing me to examine my own patterns. Even periods of illness sometimes came with unexpected “benefits” — Doting care, protection from certain expectations, and the ability to withdraw from situations that overwhelmed me. With that said, Adler’s argument isn’t that pain isn’t real. His argument is that *persistent* patterns remain in our lives because they serve a function and has benefits. Once I started recognizing the hidden benefits I was getting from problems I said I wanted to solve..

Reading this and the framework outlined in the private newsletter certainly had visions of "WTF and some nods of agreement" dancing in my head. Along with Mind Dynamics (currently reading), I will buy this book, read and ponder and share my thoughts.
