How to use GSD in Cursor?
I am a heavy Cursor user and would love to use GSD in it. Any clues on how to do this? Has anyone tried this? would it be enough to just copy the GSD .claude commands/agents, etc to the .cursor folder in my repo? or maybe this could be a new feature, just like the new opencode option!

I’ve just updated the latest version of Cursor today, and it brought all the GSD skills directly into the Cursor, so you can basically run them straight at the prompt as you were doing in Claude Code … I haven’t tried it though, so I’d be curious to hear if somebody has used it directly in Cursor agent prompt.

GSD and Freedom Plugin system
Yo fam did anybody actually try using GSD with Lex’s plug-in Freedom system to build a DAW plug-in? I mean it’d be good to know. I’ve tried it just for a bit, but it seems that I would need to modify GSD to make it work and I was reluctant to make any changes so I was just wondering if anyone has any suggestion or thing that they’ve tried and succeeded lol? anyone? @Lex Christopherson ? thx🚀 B

Yo GSD tribe
Glad to be here. Here is a bit about me: I am software veteran of many years, running software startups for more years than I care to remember. Currently CEO/CTO at Soft Gravity Inc. I am here because I love what Lex has done and has been doing ...I came across Lex when he was doing Bitwig tutorials long time ago and have been occasionally peeking over to see what he is up to. I also mostly vibe code these days and really appreciate what GSD platform does for us. Havent used it extensively as I mostly used Cursor but I am going to test it soon in real life music related tools and apps, I have vibe coded over past year or so :) Lex keep it up ... You are doing great. Boban

Thanks. Jorge …awesome info!! I really like Claude Code too so switching to it as a default tool will be super easy lol
MacWhisper - The only tool you'll need for Speech-To-Text --> Thx Lex
@Lex Christopherson mentioned MacWhisper just when I was debating between Every's Monologue, and WhisperFlow. so I checked it out, did some Perplexity research, and apparently with recent updates enabling using (locally, no API stuff) Parakeet V3 by NVIDIA, the speech-to-text speed is amazing. It does so much more than just that, but that's for later. (transcribing, translating) It costs 64 Euro (currently 59 till end of Jan) took 10 minutes to setup. real private, nothing sent to the cloud. it's a steal!!! https://goodsnooze.gumroad.com/l/macwhisper (no affiliation, no nothing. just the link)

Hey Shahar ...Perhaps I can help you out with this. I have tested pretty much all tools, and for one reason or another, I have instead opted to build a Python CLI app that does it locally. It works really well; however, it does not have any GUI, and I plan to test GSD to build a GUI for it. The reason I opted to develop it was that I wanted all my data to stay locally. So, in the current version, it runs speech-to-text locally, and you can use any Ollama model running locally if you want to enhance the text (the default does not need Ollama). I believe that it is essential that we take privacy seriously, and typing all of my ideas into a box that takes my data god knows where is not very appealing to me. If you want, I can ping you when I’m done wrapping it as an app to see if you'd be interested to try it…I'll get a 100% discount to all GSD members who want it :) LMK Cheers 🚀 B

cool I didn’t know that I’m pretty happy with my python version. I just wanted to maybe like wrap it up and if I make an app out of it perhaps push it to others to use it, however if there are too many good options outthere might not be worth it. We’ll explore it before I pursue it any case thanks for the heads up 🙂
