I respect Dr Lesley Dobson's expertise. Her story comes with a trigger warning... But I want to use her story she is sharing about how we need to know energetic boundaries. These were psych ward workers who became suicidal and dangerous. And "normies" and the medical profession at large- think the staff were just mentally ill. I think medication is a band aid- and not only did their patient's miss out- not treating the root cause left everyone at risk. I teach an intro about energetic boundaries in level 1 and I will do a deep dive training at some point about how to heal all the different ailments that come with it when the root cause is more spiritual like this. Most people try to fix the situation they’re in. But depth psychology has shown for over a century that we don’t just encounter random situations—we step into patterns. In this session, a present-day fear of harsh punishment from authority was traced back to an early imprint of “I’m worthless” formed in childhood. When that imprint is unintegrated, the nervous system keeps expecting the same dynamic— and we respond to the world through that lens. It can feel like life keeps handing us the same experience again. When the root imprint is integrated, the internal response changes— and the pattern no longer has the same grip.
