How to connect any text to the cross of Jesus (without forcing it)
This short, 3-min video will show you how to naturally connect any text/sermon to the cross of Jesus—without doing theological gymnastics, using allegory, or playing pin the tail on the donkey. Just use this simple, 4-question redemptive framework.

Thanks for sharing this helpful redemptive framework. I’m sharing it with some of my Jamaican pastor friends. I am leading a FL based mission team here this week helping with hurricane relief, and I have the privilege of preaching this Sunday to a gathering of four churches.
OFFICE HOURS (All New for Premium Members)
As our community grows, I'm working on how to best serve you and the new folks who join us. Since Wednesdays are going to be focused on group-style training for all members (more of a webinar format with Q&A), I want to be sure that I reserve time for personal connection with premium members/subscribers. So, starting tomorrow, I'm hosting our first session of OFFICE HOURS! This is a time for you to drop by with any Preach360/PPGR questions and/or to workshop your upcoming sermon. No obligation to attend and no need to register. If you need some help, just drop by at 11:00 AM ET using the link in the Calendar. I look forward to seeing you there! McKay

Thank you McKay. PPGR was a big help on a brief message I gave to new members joining our church last Saturday from Matthew 16:13-20. Key word was "keys" of course :)

@McKay Caston I am currently preparing a brief message using PPGR to my son and his wife who are getting married this Saturday. Keyword is “sufficient” from Mt. 6:33-34 🙏
Sunday Wins and Lessons Learned
I'd love to hear about any "wins" this past Sunday and/or "lessons learned." Even when things don't go as we'd hoped, that lesson learned can be applied next week, making what feels like a loss actually a win in the long run! - What did you experience that went well? - What do you think you'll do differently this week? - Did you try any new delivery ideas from the workshop? And remember that tomorrow is our workshop on how to plan your sermon prep week. Would love to see you there: https://www.skool.com/preach360/calendar?eid=1557f0f986cf4fd796bc2a8708747665 Yours, by grace alone, McKay

Skipped the "Let us pray" and just went into prayer. Thanks for that suggestion. Was more intentional with "figure 8 eye contact" which I think helped with greater connection. Smiled more :-)

@McKay Caston It felt natural to just talk to the father without having to "set it up" with the congregation. I have also been implementing in my closing prayer an invitation to any unbelievers listening, something I have not done much. I need to do more to preach to unbelievers expecting that they will be there.
Biggest frustration in prep? (and how to overcome it)
There is a long list of sermon prep frustrations that I've experienced over the past 30+ years. Here are some of the top issues I hear as a preaching coach. - I often feel behind. - I struggle with sermon structure. - I experience unfinished sermon stress all week. - I am constantly rewriting my sermons on Saturdays. - I feel like my sermons get too confusing and complex. - I rarely receive the kind of positive feedback I long to hear. - My sermon application feels shallow, forced, and sometimes moralistic. Q: Can you relate to any of these? Q: Which ones stand out as most problematic? Q How has Preach360 helped you deal with them? Let's talk about it in the comments! 🗣️ Also, we'll deal with some of them in tomorrow's live coaching workshop—and demo the latest Preach360 web app. I think we're only days away from a community beta test. Join the live workshop here: https://www.skool.com/preach360/calendar?eid=c983fe02456c4e30a4dbb5ba60e8b06e Oh, if you haven't participated in this week's poll, cast your vote here: https://www.skool.com/preach360/poll-what-would-help-you-most-with-preach360-workshops That's it for today! Hope to see you at tomorrow's workshop. McKay

The biggest struggle (before being set free by Preach 360) was the time it took to develop that outline. With the PPGR method of seeing this gospel DNA in the text has made me feel like Edmond Dantes felt when he finally escaped the Chateau D'if.
