@Lyndsay Varner i want to maybe give a hypothetical scenario that I stumbled on many years ago. It has to do with humans, and aliens and the mingling of the two. I'm not trying to pursuade anyone to this theory, only sharing because it creates questions and possible answers to religion. But the "Story " stated that we as humans, were studied by an alien race, because they lacked a soul. And thru years of interbreeding and experimenting, it was discovered how to extract the soul to supply them with the eternal life that comes with having a soul. It happens at the time of death, when the soul is assending to our place of origin, that they can intercept it and claim it as their own. And here's where it gets real crazy. 2 individuals had mated with humans threw a period of hundreds of years, placing their offspring into varies positions of power throughout the world, one choosing royalty and positions of power to control us as a race, the other, in positions of financial power, bankers , people of wealth. To continue being Immortal, they needed a supply of the followers willing to give their souls to their God. One of those to take on the role as God himself, the other took on the role of Satan. Now before you go yelling at me, please understand, that God is a belief. It gives people a certain sense of security and happiness. And I'm not trying to change anyone's mind, but the Bible, is written by man. And there are countless comtidictions in the whole story. Plus the books left out because of the Catholic Church. Now, according to this story, the Vatican plays a huge role in all of this, and this has been passed down thru generations . I really wish I could locate the source for this story again , because this community, is the perfect forum for discussion on it. It's baffled me from day one, and it has always spoken to me as serious possibility to what the world is the way it is. Souless shells walking this planet worried of only wealth and power. While the rest of us work ourselves to the bone and are fed nothing but bullshit to keep us in line. I know in my heart, that isn't our purpose here. And when I look at religion as a whole, the things that come to light are horrifying to me. The sexual misconduct and the things carried out ' in Gods name" are just short of genocide only because "God" is listed as the reason. I'm not knocking beliefs, I'm only trying to understand all of this threw things I have had access to, and to we hat I believe in myself. I'm sorry if I have offended anyone, not my goal, but seems the perfect place to maybe get answers to a question I've struggled with , for almost 20 years now, thank you

I have always wondered how someone could be blind and deaf from birth, and learn how to communicate. I mean , there is no possible way to actually give reference to any object word or meaning. And having watched the video about "stories" and using logic to disclaim beliefs from fact, I honestly can't find a logical basis to support her ability to learn how to communicate. I do find it to be an incredible story, but logically, it seems to only be that, a story. If someone could explain the process behind teaching someone who is deaf and blind from birth, how to communicate I would love to hear it, but when I look at it logically, it's like believing in Santa Claus.
