And not to mention all the sheepshead I saw swimming with the mullet today in downtown Cocoa village along the water. When I was coming down the bridge into town I happened to look over and the snook that was sitting there in the shallows had to have been pushing 45 in. I'm in a straight cow. I was so bummed I didn't have my fishing pole with me. There were some pretty big mullet swimming right around this snooks space and he didn't even budge.. Then the sheep said that we're swimming with the huge mullet it was crazy man. Some of the sheeps had had been 7 lb plus, I took photos so it's not just a fishing story lol, enjoy!, enjoy! PS sorry about the picture quality I tried as best as I could with the snook I was at the top of a giant bridge going over the intercoastal.. I tried to show perspective by zooming in and then showing you the picture zoomed out of how high up I was. So that snook is a monster!
🌿 Hi everyone, I’m Billy! I’m excited to be part of this outdoors community. I’ve always found peace and joy in spending time outside, especially on the water. Fishing has taught me patience, gratitude, and a deeper appreciation for God’s creation. I enjoy connecting with others who share that same love for nature and the outdoors, and I’m looking forward to learning from your experiences and sharing a few of mine along the way.
@Justin Sanders I like to do all fishing! But I do concentrate most of my energy on the intercoastal.. so brackish water, I also enjoy going offshore every now and again though..
Check these snook out I saw this morning just laying on the shoreline.. definitely made me want to go home and get my fishing rod I just don't have the time today.
🌊 Morning Encounter: Big Snook in the Shallows "Just after sunrise, I spotted a few hefty snook cruising the shallows—bold, quiet, and full of purpose. Their presence reminded me how nature rewards patience and early starts. Moments like these are why we teach stewardship and stillness. God’s creation speaks loudest when we’re listening." I know they look small but I promise you they're a pushing 40 in! I saw one come up chasing some needlefish and he had to be at least 45 in. I'm telling you he was pushing 40 lb. Biggest snook I've ever seen ---
I don't know about you, but when I think of my best memories, they all involve doing something with community outdoors! Whether its going backpacking in Colorado, driving through the Blue Ridge Parkway in the fall, or climbing to the top of a Volcano in Hawaii, my best times were spent outdoors. That is why I wanted to create this community. To inspire each other to spend more time outdoors with people and make some memories! Thank you for checking it out! Long live adventure!
