Dull prints
Here’s a quick one for anyone new to wall printing. Sometimes a design can look perfect on your screen, but print darker than expected. This usually happens because screens are backlit, so the image looks brighter before it’s printed. Before doing a full wall print, it’s worth checking your screen brightness, brightening the artwork slightly if needed, and doing a small test print first. It’s a simple habit, but it can save ink, time, and materials.

I always need to make adjustments to the design before printing to make it slightly brighter and more vibrant, otherwise it always tends to print darker than expected. A few simple adjustments in photoshop does the trick.
Quick Question !
Hi guys, quick question: Has anybody here printed on boards like MDF or anything similar? I've printed on boards in the past, but these are a bit bigger. If so, what was your process, and how did you mount the boards for printing with the sensors, etc.?

When I last printed on MDF I attached the board to the wall, as I wasn’t printing edge to edge I had space to tape it. It come ok fine, but did notice that the lamps left kind of a shadow line at the top and bottom, may have been too hot.
Charity Print Children’s Hospice
I’m proud to share that we’ve been accepted to do a charity wall print for a children’s hospice here in Northern Ireland. Me and my partner will be visiting on Monday to look around the space properly and start thinking about how we can create something really special for the children and families there. My plan is not just to print the mural, but to bring it to life as well using projection, so it becomes more than just something on the wall. I’ll be documenting the full project for the community from start to finish, including the design process, the print itself, and how I animate it afterwards using a projector. I think this is going to be a really meaningful project, and I’m looking forward to sharing the journey with you all.
