The Story Behind the Letters I’ve always loved paper. Magazines, specifically. The colors, the images, the textures—there’s something about flipping through a page and seeing not just what it is, but what it could become. Over the years, I picked up a habit… (okay, a bit of a problem 😄). I started folding magazine pages into envelopes. And hearts. And then more envelopes… and more hearts. At this point, I have thousands. Truly. And the funny thing is—I’m still making more. Because I love it. I love taking something ordinary and turning it into something meaningful. Something worth holding onto. (I also make them out of maps and old books that are destined for the landfill). But for a long time, they just sat there. I always thought, I need a reason to send these. I need people to send them to. I need… something. So the idea sat on a shelf for years. At the same time, something else was growing in me—a deep awareness of how much we need real, human connection. Not just texts or social media, but face-to-face, heart-to-heart, real relationships. I even tried to start something big… a whole business centered around connecting people in real life. But it was too much to carry on my own, and eventually, I set that dream aside too. And then, somewhere along the way… it clicked. What if the answer wasn’t something big? What if it was something small… something simple… something that could travel from one person to another, hand to hand? And just like that, this was born. A snail mail club built from two things I love: creating something with my hands, and helping people connect in real, meaningful ways. Each letter you receive is put together with intention and care. Inside, you’ll find a few of my favorite things—five random stickers (because I love stickers), a handmade magazine envelope, and a little folded heart made from pages that once were something else. You’ll also find a personal letter from me—a gentle prompt to take one small step toward connection. And finally, a blank card and envelope.
